I found myself in a very bad way after repeated psychological trauma. My GP and others had diagnosed me with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Dr. Gary Weisz treated me with compassion, caring and wisdom. During weekly therapy lasting over one year, this kind man guided me to full recovery. He was always punctual and followed up with every detail of my complex issues. Thanks to him, my life is a better place.

Dr Weisz is the most wonderful man. I saw a negative comment that he spends too much time getting to know you instead of fixing the problem. I am so grateful for his time he did not fix my problem he showed me in time how to fix myself. I was diagnosed with PTSD and I have gone from barely functioning for 2 years to the happiest most successful person ever. I am so appreciative of Dr. Weisz. The words thank you hardly seem enough but Dr. Weisz THANK YOU.

I recommend Dr. W. for treatment of anger issues. Anger management courses didnt help me, but Dr. W. helped me understand it. It took a while and it was very difficult for both of us, but Dr. W. stuck in there with me. He was patient even when I was angry at him.

Dr. Weisz is an excellent doctor. He helped me get over fears that I have tried to get over for years. He is thoghtful and understanding. And his assistant is wonderful.

I did not accomplish much with this psychologist, and waited too long waiting for his ‘knowledge and advice’ to kick in to aid in different issues. It seemed as if I did all of the talking, and at times, wondering if he was even taking it all in. Sessions would end with nothing accomplished; nothing to focus on or no plan for the next step. Dr. Weisz is a clock-watcher, as glancing to make sure my 50 minutes were up; time for the session to end and book the next appointment. Also, he was late 4 times which is a huge no-no of mine, and I mention this as I had other appointments late due to his tardiness. Waste of time therapy.

If you are o.k with taking FOREVER in getting anywhere than perhaps this is the Dr for you. I have to say I think the Dr takes way to long "getting to know you" rather than fixing the issues at hand. It shouldn't take five visits to get to know me to then sit in silence and not discuss an action plan for recovery, rather state the same opinions again and again & then request to see me again as soon as possible - for what nothing changed in the last 24 hours when you had nothing to say last visit other than to charge me again.....He is very slow and makes random off the wall comments about things that relay an unprofessional approach. I would not recommend this person nor will I be wasting my time going back.

Dr Weisz is a great Psychologist and a great person. I have been too dozens of psychologists in my time, and Dr. Weisz definitely tops the list. A very compassionate, knowledgeable human being that I have the utmost respect for.

From the time you meet this doctor you know you are sitting across from a compassionate man. I accidently walked into his office not knowing that I had bypassed the waiting area. He was kind and considerate and asked me to just come right in anyway. He's an excellent listener, allowes you to talk without interuption, is understanding and questions at the right times. I haven't been seeing this Dr. Weisz for long, but long enough to pick up on the fact that hes very good at what he does. He's professional, welcomeing, kind and caring, in his mannerisms, smile, expressions and suggestions. A very good choice for anyone looking for a psychologist who really cares. I look forward to continueing my sessions with this doctor, I feel he's going to be very helpful.
