I waited an hour to be seen and finally left. This after waiting several months for an appointment. I will definitely speak with my PCP about not referring to Dr Christine McLaugh again.

I have been a patient of Dr. McLaughlin's for some time. It is true that she never takes you on time but that is also true of many doctors. The doctor always listens to me and informs me of how the medication is used. The only issue I could bring up is that the office staff changes more than I would like. I don't understand why others say that she doesn't remember them if they remember that they are only seeing her every 3 months. I do believe that she has more patients than you to remember everyone's medical history and name.

Several poor office experiences. This doctor began one exam utilizing and referring to the electronic records of another patient. When I pointed this out, Dr. McLaughlin changed to the correct patient record (mine) and blamed the oversight on the electronic record system in use. I had 3 appointments within a 9 month period and she did not remember me or my medical history during any visit. When it was agreed she would dispense a prescription "as written" for a name-brand drug, she called in a generic form to the pharmacy. She made the correction after I contacted her. Dr. McLaughlin did not discuss protocols for taking medication or suggest best times to take it. Did not actually ask any questions pertaining to my medical history or general heath. Conducted a cursory exam. I waited one hour past my 3:45PM appointment time to get in the exam room. When I pointed this out, Dr. McLaughlin told me this is a bad time of day to make an appointment and I should have made an earlier appointment. I was so shocked and surprised at her lack of professionalism and concern for patient care that I felt the need to provide feedback on-line; a first for me. While I am able to advocate for myself, I am concerned for elderly patients who are not able to manage through Dr. McLaughlin's mistakes, omissions and poor attitude.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. McLaughlin. I spent more time in the waiting room than I did with her. I understand that sometimes doctors will run late, but an 1 hour in the waiting room and barely 10 minutes with the doctor doesn't seem right. As some others have commented above, I also felt she was too dismissive of my symptoms.

She was my primary care MD when I was 35 and left me at home when I was in acutely ill, and actually IN acute renal failure after traveling overseas in a third world country. Made no attempt to try to diagnose my problem. I told the story to my next primary care and she was shocked, and told me that I could have died, or ended up on dialysis, after she heard what my symptoms had been. Dr. Mclaughlin always wrote off anything I had to say, never listened to me, and as a result of that, made me sicker than I have ever been in my life. Fortunately, I now have a wonderful primary care MD.

I am disgusted with this doctor. I went to see her because my hair was falling out and I had fatigue, pain, migraines. As a 33-year-old woman, this was very upsetting.The way Dr. McLaughlin treated me was despicable.She said, "so, you THINK your hair is falling out? Are you AWARE that we all lose hair every day? Did you know that?" She insulted my intelligence AND my suffering. I told her I had thick hair to begin with, and I knew I wasn't bald, but it was falling out by the handful! She scoffed at me and left the room. Then a nurse came in to do some blood tests. I asked what was being tested, & she said "A whole bunch of 'em." After leaving 4 messages over 3 weeks, I spoke to the RECEPTIONIST, who gave me the results, because, "The doctor only talks to a patient if it's important." She also told me to get an MRI to check for a tumor. None of my follow-up questions were answered. At 34, I am almost BALD. I look sickly and feel awful. She doesn't deserve to hold a medical license.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a dr. She never got back to me as promised with test results - I had to call an call. She had her assistant NICOLE call me to say I had Type 2 diabetes and to take a script that she never called in. She never mentioned whether I needed to test my blood or go for diabetes education or have another appointment!!! I am livid!! She should lose her license. Her staff is inefficient to say the least and RUDE as is she. I am so mad that I wasted my time and money with her. SHE is the head of endocrinology at Mr. Auburn Hospital?? You've GOT to be kidding!!

she is a very nice doctor, she does have a lot of patients to see in one day and makes sure all your questions are answered. she does get behind but that is only because she spends time with each patient ensuring proper care. she answered all my questions and has helped my diabetes tremendesly

Dr. Mclaughlin is very knowledegable and technical professional. But the follow up is to be desired. I called for my lab result for 3 days knowing that the result is back for 5 days. All I get is the Dr hasn't review it.

I have never been moved to rate a doctor on-line but I had to provide feedback on Dr. McLaughlin. She has absolutely no respect for her patients' time. My first appt w/her was cancelled last minute and when I went for the rescheduled appt I waited over an hour to see her. In total I've had four appts with her and she's cancelled two with less than 2 days notice and rescheduled them without consulting me. I work for a living and I arrange my schedule according to the appts that I make. I can't be changing everything last minute to suit her. Also, what I saw her for was a thyroid nodule. My bloodwork came in normal and my biopsy was normal as well so I'm not sure I even need the ultrasound she just cancelled on me since I understand these nodules are very common and often resolve themselves. Seems like maybe she's just looking for easy income. I would not recommend her.
