Dr. Edward Kowaloff is the worst doctor I have ever had in my whole life! I had been in his office about 3 times since I choose him to be my PCP due to my thyroid condition and a year later nothing has been done. He's very RUDE, impatient and he acts like he doesn't care about your health problems. On my very first appointment he prescribed me depression medication instead of checking my thyroid. His nurse, Mary Lou is very unpleasant and rude as well. I had a TERRIBLE experience in this office. I would rather die sick then going back there!

Dr. Kowaloff Diagnosed my thyroid problem in less than a week. I had been asking my previous doctor about my thyroid and they said nothing was wrong. Dr. Kowalof immediately diagnosed and treated me. I have had chronic tmj/sinus/migraines for 5 years. I have waited months to see doctors for this. After a recent migraine episode, Dr. Kowaloff immediately prescribed me medicine that reduced my pain. This guy knows what he's doing.

I am not impressed at all with this office - dirty with filty air. Also, this doctor has terrible bed manners! It was my first visit to check my TH hormon and he gave me tab water to drink for my exam (I ambreastfeeding)..Very noisy, kept asking me unrelated questions about my personal life and then when finally proceed to examine he looked bored to death!Never again!

Saw him at the University of Massacusetts Health Services where he is "Chief Physician." I'm guessing RUDENESS was one of the key selection criteria for this position because BOY was this guy rude. Took numerous phone calls while I was in his office, during which he discussed details of anoter patient's care, then proceeded to chew me out cause the medicine I'm on (given to me by another doc) isn't alleviating my symptoms.. Whaa?? I don't love going to doctors in the first place, but this dude has given me even more reason to stay away!!

I went to him for 1 year and in all that time he told me each time, "If you aren't in a great deal of pain, you can live with it." I went in after a terrible fall and was hobbling around, but he told me I was walking enough, what more did he need to do? That was last summer, and it is still swollen, black and blue and hurts to the touch (though, yes, I can walk) so I am currently looking for a new, good doctor.
