I had rotator cuff surgery on January 31st and I have to say was extremely pleased with Dr. Smith. Not only did she do the surgery orthoscopically, but she has such a sweet and kind disposition. She was informative and knowledgeable. I would definitely have no issues referring her to anyone. On another note, not sure if it was my pain tolerance that is high, but I did not experience all the pain that most YouTube videos and articles tend to portray. The only difficult part was keeping my arm in a sling for 4 weeks, night and day! I barely even took any pain killers. Hopefully I won't need anymore surgeries, but if I do, I would definitely see her again. Thanks Dr. Smith!

I realize now only having Ohip doesn't
matter my grandfather fought in ww2 my father was a firefighter my first husband firefighter with my children an second was a superviser with the region of York and they decided to took me off there plan so I'm a ward of Ohip I hurt my arm skating with my grandson in March I all of a sudden do t need surgery thanks welcome to Canada , considering 2 other doctors said I do

Dr Smith fixed my broken humerus bone after a terrible bike accident.

She was kind, supportive and most of all, amazing at her job.

A few years later and I think how lucky I was to meet this doctor just by accident.

Dr Smith repaired my torn bicep tendon distal. Dr Smith is a no nonsense professional. I feel very comfortable in trusting her knowledge and expertise. Extremely nice on the eyes as well.

Dr. Smith performed a bicep tenotomy and repaired my torn rotator cuff, and carpal tunnel all on my right arm. I was surprised that I was not in any real pain following the surgery, and within 6 -8 weeks, I had full movement back in my arm/shoulder. Living pain free at last! (Post surgery I used The Polar Care Kodiak Cold Therapy System as recommended by a friend, it eliminated swelling and made my recovery much more comfortable - highly recommend the unit)!

Dr Smith operated on my shoulder for two torn tendons at the rotator cuff. It is now 4 months, I am finished with physio, but am to continue with exercises at home for another 2--3 months to regain muscle and strength. I was 77 years old at the time of the surgery. Strong recommendation for Dr Smith.

Dr. Smith did surgery on my sons shoulder and so far things have been great! He is doing physio now, but everything is as she said it would be! We would highly recommend her!

Dr Smith performed wrist surgery which has only helped a small amount. During surgery I was infected which required a second emergency surgery by another surgeon. Her attitude was not overly concerned with just "Oh well" these things happen. I wouldn't recommend Dr Smith to anyone else.

My dislocation and crushed humerus were not identified by my local hospital in Richmond Hill. I was sent to Dr. Smith by my GP. She performed a hemiarthroplasty, and I am recovering nicely 3 months later. Range is excellent. I told Dr. Smith that if she could spend 14-15 years learning how to fix me, that I could put in the required year of physio to bring 'her' shoulder back to 100%. Would not recommend my injury, but would sure recommend this surgeon.
