DONT GO HERE! I'm not kidding. This is the worst person I have encountered in a long time, let alone the worst dentist I've ever encountered! Please save yourself time, money, and agony. Do NOT let your children enter these doors. He also practices in Fredericksburg!!!! And now is practicing in Tysons Falls Church!? HOW! He ruined previous dental work, was rude to everyone I saw him have contact with, and was belligerent when he was told it was his fault. He uses outdated utensils, rushes everything, and doesn't do what he should. They want to charge you $100 to transfer files (probably because everyone leaves them within the first visit or two!). Like someone else said "cruel and unusual punishment" indeed. I hope everyone here filed a complaint with the Board, even though their "solution" is to have the SAME dentist re-do or fix work NO WAY IS THAT HAPPENING! He shouldn't be practicing.

Would not transfer records to another provider after dissatisfaction with care and this went on for such a long time. He wanted money for transferring records. Terrible service, waiting forever, only to be done with a regular cleaning check up in under ten minutes. The community would be in better hands with his practice shut down.

my first visit with this office was pleasant however soon after that I began experiencing very long wait times. his staff is not very good with comprehending English nor do they speak English very well so that makes it very difficult to communicate properly. the staff is also very bad with returning phone calls and checking voicemail that is particularly frustrating when you try to call to schedule an appointment and continuously get voicemail. the doctor is very good at what he does but I think he should work on being a little bit more patient with parents and their feelings.

It seems Dr. Kakar and his staff have taken on way more than they can chew. Two years ago the place was good. Dr. Kakar took time to work with my child (who has special needs) and myself. The last two times we went we only saw Dr. Kakar for literally 1 minute while he glanced at my son's teeth and declared them fine. they refuse to use the dental equipment and even neglected to record that the power brush was used previously without issue, and say they will only use a standard toothbrush (hello I do that at home!). The wait is always over an hour sometime 2, even when we had an emergency and were told to come "first thing" it was 11:00 before we were seen! I no longer recommend Dr. Kakar!

This place is the worst to take your kids to and to work for. I worked here a few years back, not only are they real bad towards kids but they are also the same towards staff. As soon as I realized how traumatizing they where to kids I stopped working there. I am now a manager at a dental office in Mc lean. I couldn't ask for a better boss than the one I have now.

My kids have been going here for years. The recent front desk staff are rude, and slow as all gets. You ALWAYS wait a hr at least for your appointment and then again to check out. The assistants now are rude and short and the doctors arent worth the money they are charging. Looking for a new dentist now!

Staff is rude, belligerent, and over all nasty. Dr. Kakar never seen, and they always run about an hour late. Waste of time and money. I do not recommend it at all.

We have been here twice, though the dental staff is great with the kids you first have to go through the rude reception staff and both times they were running 45 - 65 mins behind my scheduled appointment time.

I took my kids to the dentist for cavity filling and the doctor kakar was really rude with my kid and I ask the dentist if I can be close to my kid and the response of the doctor was that he won't let any parent in the room with the kids and at some point is understandable. But he told me if my kid movea he will strap him and that he doesn't like to be work with a kid when is moving or crying". Finally " he suppose to be a pediatric dentist" Do not he suppose to be dealing with this type a situations. Is part of the job. Also after reading all the comments for this doctor I do not think he is the doctor for anybodies kids. I DO NOT RECOMMENDED THIS DOCTOR IT ALL....
