Let me preface this review- I’m absolutely terrified…. petrified of dentists. Majorly full blown anxiety attacks. The 1st time I met Dr. Morales, I went into an anxiety attack & he left the room for he felt he was stressing me more. Through the kindness of dental assistant, Estefania, & Insurance Clerk, Agustina, I was able to calm down. When Dr. Morales returned, he was kind, reassuring, & patient with me. He didn’t make me feel rushed, as he explained the dental implant procedure. It was as if I was his only patient. I entrusted doing the procedure with Dr. Morales. Through this 1st phase, where he had to remove remaining teeth & cap bases, Dr. Morales was a great comfort putting me at ease. He had to anesthetize me & it happened so quickly & professionally, I barely remember the process until waking up. Dr. Morales was thorough in his work & did an excellent job explaining the next steps to a groggy person. I’ve seen him on a follow up visit & surprisingly for me, I had NOT ONE moment of anxiety. Dr. Morales has made me feel beyond at ease & reassured. I felt no pressure as he completed the examination & answered every one of my questions. It’s been a very long time since I’ve felt comfortable with a dentist, but I can absolutely say that Dr. Morales is golden. He is a consummate professional - knowledgeable, explains every step of the way with patience & clarity. I have had minimal to no pain as he has completed the necessary work towards implants. In all honesty, I am actually very comfortable with him. I can also attest to the kindness & patience of his staff. The front desk is efficient, kind & easy going. The X-ray staff are also so friendly & explain everything they need to do. The dental assistants & anesthetist were soothing & genuinely were concerned with my comfort. I have to express my gratitude towards Estefania & Agustina. These 2 ladies are instrumental in my staying in the office the first day. They both are calming & go above & beyond to make a patient more comfortable. Augustina did not have to be in the examining room, prior to seeing Dr. Morales, but after building a rapport over the phone & understanding my phobia, she came to let me know I was in good hands. I appreciate her kindness & extra efforts. Initially, I might not have stayed if not for Estefania & Agustina. I’m immensely grateful for their heartfelt interest in seeing me through the beginning stages. Without them, I truly would have bolted & never met Dr. Morales. I’m extremely happy that I did stay. In my eyes, Dr. Morales is, as I’ve previously stated, golden. I wish he did general dentistry as well. Any & all anxiety would be gone. Dr. Morales is just that great & I cannot thank him enough.
