I'm sorry to say but he is a money minded person, i consulted him for almost 1.5 years and he is not very helpful. he is more concerned only about his reputation and his schedules. I don't like to rate him like this but I'm quite hurt . he needs to change his attitude and listen to patients and understand why people come to a doctor. going to clinic is another story you have to take appointment only by sms as he will not answer any call. he is interested only in the number of patients he sees and not the quality of treatment. his approach is very bookish i don't think he has the time or interest to explore the patient's case in detail and their feedback about the medication being given to them. At the hospital he sees roughly 150 patients in just 3 to 4 hrs you are treated like a sheep wait for 3 hrs just enter his cabin and his juniors will explore / diagnose you and based on that he will provide medication.. Just another over rated / over hyped doc. Sad to say this. these specialists paid heavy fees while studying this course and now they are busy getting it back.

He is a great doctor. My entire family has been seeing him from more than a decade. He is strict with his patients. Visiting him at his residential clinic is more easier.

I have been visiting Dr. Vagesh Ayyar for close to 9 years now, the experience has been wonderful, he has never pitied or sacred cos i have been a diabetic from an young age, very practical and well read. Infact I suggest to visit him at his home clinic than St. john. Visiting St. Johns for consultation can be overwhelming, time consuming and no personal time as he will be assisted majorly by the interns, which can leave old patients, children stressed out because of the long wait.

All it needs is to call on the no. mentioned on the specific days, the lady who attends the call is very helpful and courteous.

I consulted Dr Vageesh Ayyar, he is no better than a normal physician I would say that general physicians are better.. I was feeling better with the medicines of the general physician..
He is utter waste of time and money

i did not get much help from his diagnosis. Waste of time. I went to his clininc and even fixing appointment is cumbersome. We need call in certain time a day before. He charged me 900rs for visit to him two consequent days.Usually in Hospitals they give a week's time for free consultation after the first day of consultation. I would not recommend him .

I am 27yrs, and diagonised with diabetes..consulting him since 5 months..not only his medication,he is a very good humanbeing, knows how to treat a young diabetic patient, has given moral support.I strongly recommend him

I can relate to the exPerience when you visit him at St. Johns. Particularly those student kids are annoying. However if you visit him at cmh road clinic he is very good and we can be rid of those intern kids and their trials
