Dr Delrue has changed my life. As a Type 1 diabetic for most of my life; her help and guidance with my diabetic treatment management has added years to my life.

As I read these reviews I notice that each time there is a review that is negative, the next review that is written says the opposite as what was written in the previous review. I suspect that someone in the office is trying to salvage the doctor's reputation or review status. These reviews aren't any help at all.

Has been informing my daughter that a sch. in regards to her diabetes is not important. Sleep or food. That it is ok for her to drive when her levels are in the 20's and 30's despite my insurance company saying "no" over 15. She would not order tests in regards to her mental capacities despite the fact that she has gone DKA several times this year, and seems "all of a sudden" incapable of taking care of herself.

The best endo I have seen in my 18 years of diabetes. She is so compassionate, understanding, helpful and nonjudgmental. She treats her patients as a person and not their disease. She goes out of her way to make sure you leave the appt feeling comfortable and well equipped for the next 3 months.

Dr.Delrue has helped me through so many struggles with my diabetes and everyday life. She is always on time with appointments and I see her every 3 months unlike my old endo who could only see me twice a year. She is very understanding and gives tough love when needed!!! She listens and I never feel rushed or scared to ask for help. Dr. Delrue is an extremely caring and knowledgeable doctor and I would recommend her to anyone!!!

Dr.Delrue is up to date with new meds and technology but cannot admit to making a mistake. She gave me a new pill and my Pharmacist was hestitant on filling this medication as it would bring on low blood sugars when combined with the meds she had me on. He contacted her and she told him "I am the Doctor, you are the Pharmacist!". I took this medication and ended up in the ER with my 8 yr old having to call for help! It was terrifying! I later spoke with her about my symtoms which she told me "in 10 years, this has never happened", so basically calling me a liar. I am 47 years old and surely do not need attention , nor do I exaggerate when it comes to my health. Three weeks ago I had a full Hysterectomy and Dr.Delrue actually told me to excercise when I am just getting around to walking. She is absolutely ridiculous and as cold as they come. My next step is to report her to the College of Physicians and get a referral to another endocrinologist. I honestly cannot believe the treatment and lack of compassion I have received from her, its disgusting to say the least!

Dr Delrue is a very smart and caring Doctor. I have been seeing her for almost ten years. I have been diabetic for 37 yrs. She listens and gives good advise. She expects you to take your condition seriously and I think she gets frustrated when you don't. She respects that I am in a lot of pain and was the one who put me on Lyrica, which was a wonder drug for me, for a good 6 years but then seemed to stop working. I'm going to see her today... the only problem I have is her location. You can; t get there directly by the bus and it is painful for me to walk... but I will get it done :)
I would refer her to anyone. Just remember she is straight and to the point,
