First off, I do think Dr. Bluth is a decent doctor. However, his office never fails to lose paperwork. If you do lab tests, they lose the paperwork and rudely tell YOU to call and have it resent. If you do testing in their office, the next visit they are trying to make you redo the testing because they can't find the results. Unfortunately, when you finally see Dr. Bluth, it's like he has so much going on, he doesn't take the time to actually look through the file and see what you're there for.

Was admitted to hospital through ER. Dr bluth was my pcp at the time. Very incompetent not sure what meds to give and was VERY PUSHY wanting me to sign a DNR. I have severe asthma and he wanted me to sign DNR.. And literally kept on and on... he was either or both to lazy or didn't know how in Vent someone if need be. He rather me sign the DNR that way he could legally let me die and not have to Vent me. I refused to sign it and he was not happy with me. After I was discharged I immediately contacted my insurance and changed my pcp. And I am very happy with the new Dr I have. Dr Bluth is an idiot and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL!!! HONESTLY I WOULDN'T EVEN SEND MY ANIMAL TO HIM..... AND ALWAYS IN A RUSH AND LITERALLY MAKES NO SENSE WHEN TALKING TO YOU. He asked me why I was given NUCULA for... I said I have SUPER BAD ASTHMA and the NUCULA Injections are given to me once a month at the hospital for severe asthma. He wasn't familiar with that drug he said....

Rude & disrespectful. I see a pain management specialist & have done so for almost 10 yrs now. I am prescribed two different narcotics along with other non-controlled pain NSAIDS and use different pain therapies. Ive only been seeing Dr B for about 8 months since my PCP in the city retired (after having been MY families physician for about 20 years) and i was forced to find someone new. I wanted someone local so I didn't have to go to the city every time I got the flu or strep throat, etc. My first visit with him seemed ok but I felt very rushed...like I was keeping him from something that was more important to him. My next visit a month later was even more so as this time his medical assistant that roomed me didn't take my vitals or ask me why I was being seen and then when he came in he acted annoyed at me because he didn't have the information he needed and actually had to talk with me to see why I was there. Then there was a period of about 6 months when I didn't need to be seen. Then two days after Mother's Day I had a last minute "work-in" appointment for an abscess on my face that I thought might be a spider bite (i never saw a spider or felt any bite). He seemed ok on this visit but he never even walked over to me to get a close look at the wound. He didn't touch the wound. He told me he would send a script for antibiotics to my pharmacy. I mentioned how much pain I was in. I was NOT looking for additional narcotic pain control. I have a "contract" with my pain specialist that I will NEVER ask for or take any scripts for a controlled pain medication and that if the need were to ever arise where I might need this, I should contact them and they would handle this. Without letting me continue and explain that I was hoping for ideas on how to manage this specific type of pain, maybe through ice or hot packs or whatever, he just jumped to the conclusion that I wanted more drugs. What a jerk! I'm not a smoker....never been, I don't drink alcohol, I've never taken any illegal drugs nor have I ever had the desire to do so. It took many years of living with horrific lower back pain and bilateral knee pain and years of trying many, many different kinds of non-narcotic pain medication, other pain therapies like PT, TENS units, Chiropractic care, Massage Therapy and more before I would consent to even trying the medications i now currently take. So this man, this supposedly well-trained physician (just found out he received his degree from OUTSIDE this country, but yet he is from this country....what does this say to you? To me it implies he was unable to get accepted into an American University for whatever reason I will not speculate) says to me he won't prescribe me anything else for pain (I hadn't asked) as I'm already taking much, much more then he would ever prescribe and that "I'm doing myself a disservice " by taking these medications. Just who in the heck does he think he is? He is not my pain doctor nor is he a pain specialist. He has never seen me for my back or knee problems nor have I ever sought out his advice on these issues. It is now unfortunate that I have had to make another appointment with him for tomorrow for an acute medical issue that I think requires a treatment with a course of antibiotics. There are not many doctors here in Weatherford and I can't find any female physicians or clinicians that are accepting new patients so my choices here are definitely limited. I guess it's back to the city for me to find a new PCP. As you can probably guess I do take my pain medications around the clock and therefore I am always "under the influence" and am unable to drive myself anywhere anymore so finding a ride to the city will be much harder to find now. My husband works long daytime hours, my adult children both work night shifts so they sleep during the day and I'm not wealthy enough to be able to afford a cab to the city and back whenever I need to be seen. It's expensive enough to catch a cab just here in town. I'm running out of ideas. I sure hope that if you decide to see this doctor that you are treated much better then I have been and that you don't allow yourself to be treated the way I allowed myself to be treated. I'm hoping I can stand up for myself better in the future. Thank you.

I had been seeing Dr. Bluth for the first half of my pregnancy, and then had to find a new OB because I was moving to a new town. During my first visit with my new OB, I found out that I had a complete placenta previa and Dr. Bluth had never told me. This required me to be on pelvic rest and I would not have known this if I hadn't have gone to a different OB. Dr. Bluth also forgot to schedule my quad screening. Compared to my new OB, Dr. Bluth barely checked on me and I feel that his care was lacking. I would not recommend him as an OB. His front staff is also terrible. The ladies up there act like the patients are a bother to them while they are up there gossiping. Dr. Bluth also gossips about other patients with the front desk ladies, which I think is very unprofessional.

Good doctor. Schedules to many patients so there is ALWAYS a long wait. I scheduled the first appointment in the day, and heard him enter the back door 30 minutes after my appointment, and still saw another patient first (non-emergency). I'm ready to find a doctor who respects my time.

The staff is nice until you point out a flaw in their system. Like they have abnormal test results and they don't tell you until four months later... They are punctual half the time. Today I had to wait 45 minutes in an empty waiting room... They are helpful when you get in their face about something. Like refilling a prescription. You say you need it refilled when you leave, they say we will call it in right now, you go to your pharmacy later that day AND THEY NEVER CALLED IT IN. The best thing about this place is that they most of the time know what they are talking about.
