Dr. Hershenfeld is excellent in every single aspect you might think of. Many reviews here have complained about the rude staff, I personally did not see anything bad from them.

Excellent care and treatment for my retinal issue and glaucoma. Very knowledgeable and a great communicator. What Dr is punctual these days!?! Take a book and chill. Regarding staff , they have a difficult job and put up with an awful lot. You get back what you give. Take a deep breath and quite whining snowflakes! Thank you Dr Herschenfeld for your abfab TLC and wishing you a long, healthy and happy retirement. I hope my next carer will be just like you.

I know he is retiring but we loved going to him for all these 30 plus years and only, wish him the best for his retirement years! he was always there for us and our family and truely a smart doc and a true gentleman, best of luck Seymour!

Dr Hershenfeld is an ok doctor however his staff is brutal .As they have been there for years and there are so many negative reviews ,I believe that the doctor must know this and ignores and condones it .The staff is horrible .No compassion ,no manners and no finess .It is the doctors responsibility to know and address this as it is a bad reflection on him .The office is bleak and not very clean .The staff is inconsiderate and rude .The wait time is autrocious .. Thank god he is retiring and hopefully the stafff will not inflict themselves on anyone else .

Dr Hershenfeld is a very good specialist but his secretary is so blatantly rude. I don't think I will ever return to his office again. I see that other patients have been complaining for years. I don't understand why she is still there.

Dr Hershenfeld is terrific. The staff make for a terrible experience. Very rude and condescending. They are obviously very unhappy and pass that along to the patients. There is no need to be so disrespectful. If I change practitioners it will only be because the entire staff is so horrible.

Amazing doctor, been with him for over 15 years now. Always finds the solution, always speaks with respect and gives you the time of day (I have an optometrist who after making people wait 3 hours, sees me for 2-5 mins and says wel that’s all I can do for today, come in another time), and the secretaries are very kind to me!

The front reception staff do not care, nor have time to listen to anything the patient says. They talk over you, and seem inconvenienced by your presence. There isn’t a shred of kindness whatsoever. No complaints about the Doctor, he’s great.
