This Doctor is the Best Surgeon ever; however the staff BEWARE. There is absolutely NO follow-through whatsoever. They only remember you when you make contact regarding your prescriptions and or vitamins. The Dietician and Nurse Practitioners Case load is too overwhelming for them to extend the VIP treatment that INOVA claims to be. It's unfortunate because this Doctor is above all the BEST Bariatric Surgeon in the business. I just can NOT refer anyone because the office beside manners and follow-through is PUTRID!

Dr. Moazzez is amazing! He spent so much time preparing me for this life changing surgery. His staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. I am 3 months out from surgery and doing great. HIs post op care has helped keep me on track. I am so happy and glad that I chose Dr. Moazzez!

Dr. Moazzez is knowledgeable, friendly and a great physician. But I do NOT recommend using him as his staff is horrible. Absolutely horrible. Scheduling issues, payment issues...do NOT use this doctor.

Dr Moazzez and his staff are professional, knowledgable and caring - they care more about your health and success than a copay and a statistic. I had my surgery over 6 years ago and they still remember me by name - they are truly a blessing and just and amazing group of professionals!

He performed a hernia repair on me which seems to have been successful. My main issue is with the anesthesia doc (Elizabeth Nesbitt)who did an end run around me in order to impose Versed - and Dr. Moazzez' attitude towards my (bad) experience with same. I reacted badly to the Versed and ended up having general anesthesia, which I specifically said I wanted to avoid. When I complained to Dr. Moazzez about this, his feeble reply was "We're always ready to use general when using MAC".(MAC=Monitored Anesthetic Care). All this means is they will hit you with Versed and hope nothing goes wrong. There are firetrucks at the airport too, but you hope you never have to use them. Also on the day of surgery, both docs seemed to have an attitude. I am not happy with the anesthesia and I find both of the doctors' attitudes towards me to be uncaring and unprofessional. While he may be competent, I will choose another surgeon in the future if I should need one.
