Maureen Longeway is an absolute disgrace to the health care industry. She turned what should have been one of the most beautiful moments life has to offer in a child being born into an utter nightmare. My girlfriend just gave birth to the most beautiful, happy, healthy baby girl any parents could ever ask for! Being a first time dad this was a pretty traumatic experience. Ms. Longeway came into our room repeatedly harassed my girlfriend about taking a drug screen because apparently our baby shakes. That was her reasoning, or for a better term patient profiling, which is absolutely illegal and have no grounds to do so. According to webMD it is perfectly normal for newborns due to the baby's brain sending electrical currents simultaneously throughout their undeveloped bodies. Also can you be any more clueless?! The hospital gave our baby a short sleeve onesie, meanwhile I sitting here in a sweatshirt and have a big warm blanket on and I'm still cold! All hospitals are cold!!! My girlfriend felt attacked and just gave birth! You're supposed to make her feel comforted not emotionally abusing her into almost having a panic attack! Following our discharge, Ms. Longeway called and harassed my girlfriend 3 times in which I have documented on making an apt. for that day for a 2 day follow up! My girlfriend called Ms. Longeway and her nurse said that there were no available appointments for this Friday 11/23 and said if nothing appeared wrong with our baby then we could definitely hold off until there was an available slot this Monday. Our little angel only cries for a second right before she is hungry and that's it! She doesn't cry when we change her diaper or anything! And if there really was an overwhelming concern about our baby's health, the why were we discharged from the hospital the very next morning!? Ms. Longeway then called my girlfriend after we had already talked to her nurse and continued to harass my girlfriend saying she especially wanted to keep a "close eye" on our beautiful perfect happy smiling baby girl. Ms. Longeway victimized and patient profiled my girlfriend, caused her an myself emotional distress. She made what should have been the most precious moment of mine and her life into an instant nightmare! I recommend to all new parents DO NOT TRUST Ms. Longeway to be your pediatrician! I will be filing a formal complaint with the HR department at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and be contacting a lawyer for legal advice! Ms. Longeway does not deserve to practice medicine!

Awesome - friendly and helpful. I appreciated her offering several options for treatment rather than pushing pills right away.

This dr lack of knowledge and understanding caused me way more medicail issues than nessasry. She is SOO against pain meds that it blinds her. she doesn't belong in the medicail field, plus yelled at my young child in ofice for being a little too loud, we had to wait a long time.
