In the beginning, Dr. Canty's lovely wife Linda suggested he check me out at home (Imagine a chiropractor making house calls!) I had swelling, tremors, neck and back aches after both rotator cuffs were surgically replaced. Dr. Barry was immediately wise, caring and helpful--and recommended that I visit his S.M. office where X-rays, high tech machines, and supportive staff--like energetic, bilingual, delightful Lorena--would be available. Now, my twice weekly appointments are the health highlight of my week!

He is a lovely person and excellent at what he does (a specialized field of chiropractic work). His office staff is also pleasant. That said, he is not in any insurance company's network, does not like to deal with insurance and expects cash payment in a lump sum, up front. While compared to other cash treatment centers, it's a reasonable price -- it's still a lot to ask someone with insurance. It breaks down to $150 per session most times. He's very good at what he does, but most folks can't afford that kind of out of pocket expense 2-3x a week for a few months of needed treatment. The office is also a bit run-down and parking is hard to find.
