I read other comments and i have never had a bad experience with Dr. Lam at all. I had to actually change doctors because i moved to the indiana area. This is by far the best doctor i have been to yet. My pregnancy has been great because of her and her staff. My test results have always came back on time. I have no problem with scheduling my appointments. I also experienced complications with my pregnancy and Dr. Lam made sure that I've been monitored up until now. I am scheduled to be induced on Monday and i would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I was 4 months and although I preferred Dr. Collins she was too booked. Dr. Lam said I was high risk but has only checked my cervix one time during a pelvic exam for tests. I have had to schedule my own ultrasound because she will not remember. I should be on weekly visits. I am not. Staff do more than she does. I feel I know them better. So if you're looking to share a close bond with the Dr. as I was, keep looking. She is in and out of the room before anything gets answered. I needed to stop working because of the pain of my job. She had her staff handle me. I am now 37 Weeks and the baby is measuring much farther along and weighs almost 8 pounds. I have an appointment Wednesday but I guarantee my requests will go unheard. If you are looking for a doctor who will go the extra mile to make sure you feel like everything is addressed look else where. She doesn't listen to what you say because she is the doctor. She treats you as though what you're saying isn't important. Not pleased.

Dr Lam, by FAR, is the one of the best obgyn's i've ever had in my 30 yrs of treatment... the only other exceptional Dr i've been treated by was a surgical board chairperson for a teching hospital and he had something like 30 yrs of experience. Dr. Lam would be a far more superior choice for anything related to the female organs, however I hesitate to recommend her to anyone due to her staff. Her office NEVER returns calls. It's an absolute pain in the a-- to try and get ANYthing done via phone. Once you're actually IN the exam room... lovely staff, AMAZING Dr., they will make you feel absolutely at home! It's just the "getting-in-for-an-appointment" or waiting for test result communication, making an appointment, or anything else that requires her staff that makes me feel like i'm an unwanted intrusion to their day.

Highly recommend her! She made my first pregnancy go so smoothly and made me feel comfortable. She even guessed my exact due date:) Delivery went well with her.

Not at all happy. The nurses dont give full instructions when leaving messages about future appts and are not knowledgable, she runs late, isnt timely in scheduling future appts. and does not get the importance of it, front staff is rude. Needless to say I will be finding a new doc!!

Not at all accommodating to scheduling. Especially those with fertility issues, doesn't understand the importance of on time appointments.. Would not recommend .

Dr. Lam is an extremely gentle, soft-spoken woman that I would highly recommend. She put me at ease as soon as she walked into the exam room. She explains everything she is doing and is a very compassionate physicain.

Dr. Lam is a wonderful doctor. She is very caring. She delivered my first child and will be delivering my second child very soon.
