I rate Dr Nahum a Zero. Dr Nahum, you did not correctly diagnose my husband with Prostate Brain Cancer. In fact, you looked both of us in the face and said this is NOT the cancer causing his neurological issues. You referred us to a neurologist who gave us a 2nd appt long after my husband was already dead. You saw what you called meninges on his brain MRI on July 28th and you still said it wasn't brain cancer. From July 29th until his death on Oct. 22nd we went to Neurologists, physical therapists, Occupational therapists, speech therapists, was in the ER 4 times, In Rehab facilities 3 times. We did this all to find out what was wrong with him and all along the way you were kept in the loop by all the medical professionals. As an Oncologist, you dropped the ball on this one. You should have been on top of it and if you had advised us correctly, his final 3 months could have been spent with his family and his grandchildren who adored him instead of us running around looking for a diagnosis. Shame on you.

Wonderful doctor with the world's rudest and least helpful staff whose incompetence borders on malpractice. We went to see him after my mom was diagnosed with stomach cancer. The office is run by a bunch of part time housewives who seem to know less about basic secretarial work and office management than they do about patient care. After the appointment, the doctor came out to a chaotic office and rattled off a series of things to the woman behind the desk that she could not take down fast enough to even get all of it. Tests and follow-ups and reports and things he wanted done. She wrote this important medical information down on a scrap of paper (what she could glean from what he said) and he was off to see the next patient. Leaving my mother and I to have to go BACK over what it is that he was ordering and explaining what we'd understood him to have wanted. Much of it she missed. As a result the doctor ordered a chest CT that was never done, bc we didn't know we were meant to have one done, a series of specialized next generation sequencing blood tests, for which the results were lost (this after assuring me the test had simply never been done), and they failed to order an additional set of tests on the biopsy sample that they said they'd run. We had to repeatedly follow-up with them to ask as to status. They never answer the phone and when they do they are rude and incompetent. Connecting me in a roundabout fashion between "departments", ie, the lady in the seat next to the one I'm currently talking to. No one has any answers or takes any responsibility. After FINALLY getting a hold of someone who told me they did not run this special blood test and didn't have a record of it, I asked what exactly they had done with the blood, and told them that if I were to have it re-done by my new oncologist and be charged thousands bc insurance won't pay for it twice, I'd be coming after them for it, she put me on hold again and found it. Amazing. She said she would fax it over to my new office that instant. Hours later the fax hasn't come through. The office is closed because it's 3pm (obviously) and we have another day without the important medical information I need to make a decision about my mother's health. A shame that a good doctor runs a practice this inept.

They did not get my father the proper tests he needed. They did not make sure he was ok and when he went for a second opinion the other doctor said."what did they do to you". Very sad and unfortunate.

Can not say enough good things about Dr. Nahum and his wife. They have fought tooth and nail for me and treat me like family. His ego is not inflated like many many other doctors I have seen. I would night recommend him!

Dr. Nahum treated my father for mesothelioma. When my father was in ICU and I called this doctor for advice, he screamed on the phone ''I've seen people died of mesothelioma in 3 days'' and basically cut me off. Quite a compassionate response to a grieving daughter, wouldn't you say? I wouldn't go to him.

This doctor refused to test me for possible causes of my bone marrow disease. I suffered under his care for many years until I finally went for a second opinion and found that I had a severe vitamin D deficiency and heavy metal poisoning. After 1 year of treatment from another doctor, my blood tests are now normal, I no longer have the bone marrow disease. I am happy and healthy and so glad I stopped going to him.

Great person can't say enough good things about him and his wife. Very dedicated practice, extremely concerned and the guy to go to when most doctors have thrown in the towel.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Nahum and his staff. Going thru chemo was very stressful but he and his staff was wonderful; compassionate and caring. I am so glad that my insurance company sent me to his office. I still go for checkups.
