I saw her for the first time today and initially liked her. She is knowledgeable but if you are prescribed a benzodiazepine she will make you feel like a substance abusing medication seeker. Even for a low dose used primarily for sleep. She is overly cautious and her policy of requiring quarterly visits if a benzo is prescribed is wasteful to the consumer and insurance companies. She also requires drug screening which would be extra cost incurred by the consumer, as well as somewhat insulting. Out healthcare system will only improve when wasteful medical apts are no longer required. Needless to say, I am looking for another dr.

She was very rude to my grandparents. She told my grandmother to "shut up". That's not how you treat others. I would not recommend using her as your doctor.

DR SCHWANZ IS AN EXCELLENT DOCTOR. SHE IS VERY INTELLIGENT AND DOES NOT GIVE UP UNTIL SHE SOLVES THE PROBLEM. SHE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL BUT SHOWS CONCERN AND CARE FOR EACH OF HER PATIENTS. SHE HAS BEEN MY PCP FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS AND I HOPE SHE REMAINS IN OUR SMALL TOWN.
