Dr. Allen is AMAZING!! I'm sure you cant make EVERYONE happy when it comes to pain management.. Some times the answer "NO" is considered RUDE.

Dr. Allen is a knowledgeable physician. She is sincere, always polite, and really cares about her patients. I couldn't recommend her enough. Before she we t out on her own, she was at a horrible group practice, so any negative review prior to her starting her own practice, must be taken with a huge grain of salt!

She was saying how much she wanted to help but then was even rude to my mother at the end of my very first visit when she just asked a simple question. I had to wait in the car for over an hour each visit even when I called ahead & they always told me I HAD to be there on time! She tricked me into taking a medication & I ended up getting sick from it. She never returned calls when I tried to call because of that as well as when I ended up in the hospital because of other advice from her. I would NEVER tell anyone to go to her. I tried many times to straighten out my medical records that she wrote because they are all totally wrong & no one will even correct them, the fact if I had insurance is wrong, even my weight (I don't mean by a few lbs) is totally wrong but the entire staff is saying everything is right! I have 100% proof that all I say is true.

Dear All - Dr. Allan is "wonderful" in all ways and am not sure what state of mind the person was in when wrote the hard-to-follow comments below. Just as a clarification, Dr. Allen left the practice in May so question the visit 8/6? I only wish she was still w/the group as she's missed by all - and that's just not hear-say!

I can't be polite when I was treated as badly as I was&I'm sorry but I could write a book,I was warned even before I went!She isn't professional,heard she mistreated others & was rude when she was helping run a meeting&all she cared about was rubbing elbows to get in good with a doctor to possibly leave where she is currently working, not the patients who needed the support!My ONLY visit with her-she gave me medicine that I specifically told her I was allergic to &lied to me about what she was giving me,naturally not documented what SHE did. She also did tell me to push myself (not "exactly" what she wrote in her notes though-a total lie & I have proof).I also ended up in the hospital & again she "forgot"/never documented my medical records & more things that are now refused to be corrected. Ignored many calls after the hospital & now probably going to have to bring her/spine center to court, especially since medical records are totally false!Been fighting since,etc...

Dr. Allan is a GEM - no need to look any further. Dr. Allan's the consummate professional, skilled, knowledgeable + kind-hearted and sincere doctor. She's one of a kind!

I really like Dr. Allen. Very helpful and caring. She lets me ask as many questions as I need to. She treats conservatively - meaning she doesn't slam you with the highest dosage immediately. She is open to alternative solutions and keeps a list of resources that she shares i.e. presentations in my area for my condition, support groups, etc. Good doc. Staff has always been very professional and helpful.

My first experience with a Pain Mgmt MD at the recommendation of my surgeon. So was skeptical as to what to expect. I met Dr. Allen who was very knowledgeable and intelligent and at the same time compassionate, warm and caring. What a combo! YES, DRs like this do exist! I'm being treated for a back condition and am scheduled for surgery in September so in the interim am being treated for pain by this wonderful person. Dr. Allen has exceeded expectations and was 'spot' on how to treat me. God Bless this wonderful MD!
