Dr. Baethge has been my rheumatologist for about 7 years. I first saw him at UTMB in Galveston and was very impressed. He listens which is the most important thing a doctor can do. I have recommended him to several people and drive 5 hours to see him as he is the most knowledgable rheumatologist I have ever met.

He is one of the most knowledgeable and caring doctors you will find. He listens, educates, and treats. You never feel rushed in his office. You get the feeling he will do his level best to treat the disease.

He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and stays up on the latest meds and therapy for RA. He also keeps up on your other health issues and will work with your primary in overall care. He is a very concern doctor and listens to every thing you have to say. He does not rush you and will stay with you until you are finished. He wants you to be well informed about your condition and your meds and will give your information regarding the above and expects you to read it. If you have a computer he gives you websites to visit to learn more. John Hopkins Hospital being one of them. He doesn't mind phone calls and returns all calls.
