First and foremost, I am given a questionnaire to fill out related to depression, when my appointment was for anxiety not depression. The medical assistant asked me you were coming in for anxiety, you answered all your questions at a zero. Correct, I was not coming in for depression. I was coming in for anxiety that is two different things. My blood pressure was 95/60 which is way below normal for me being a stroke victim.
Secondly, I discussed with my doctor, the main reason why I made the appointment is for anxiety. That I have came out of the woodwork being taken advantage of by my previous doctor.
My daughter who is also my (poa) had asked if they re-checked my blood pressure and I said no I was already in the car getting ready to leave and she insisted me to go in and have it re-checked for the sake it was very abnormal for me.
I was told by the medical assistant she was currently with a patient, and they normally don’t recheck it. (Okay no problem I can understand that and take a seat) and she would have to get the doctor‘s permission. I apologize that I was an inconvenience, perhaps I should’ve drove myself to the fire department and let them know the policy at my doctors office.
I ended up getting my blood pressure rechecked and it was 100/60. At that time I was asked with a very shitt¥ attitude, what does your daughter do?
I stated she is the the healthcare field as well as my power of attorney. Very rudely again I was advised maybe you need to go see a cardiologist instead. (Very sarcastically) Pretty sad I do have a right when it comes to my health.
But I guess it is time to find another physician when I am told at the time of making my appointment, decide which is more important, your anxiety or your joint pain. The physician only discusses one concern at an appointment. I have been to other doctors and specialists and I have never had a problem taking a list of concerns to discuss.

Dr Petrovich is not helpful or compassionate. She has become rude and disorganized since her move to Cedar Lake.

I have been a patient for several years but today I saw Dr. Petrovich and was very upset with the way she treated me. SHE was late coming in. When I had a few questions regarding my condition she told me she had a schedule to follow and did not have time for these questions. I truly was in there with her for no longer than 15 or 20 minutes. I will never go back.

Dr. Petrovich and her Nurse Practitioner Jodi are fantastic, I would not hesistate to send anyone to see them. As an RN myself it is important to find someone who takes my concerns seriously. I refer all my friends to her which says a lot. Dr. P and Jodi are fabulous and extremely thorough in their assessments and treatments.

I've been a patient of hers for years. When my insurance changed and she was no longer in my network, I tried to find a new network doctor and was disappointed every time. I now pay premium to see her and wouldn't have it any other way. She is thorough, sincere, nonjudgmental, and has effectively treated me through all kinds of problems. Love her!

I finally found a doctor who is very through and generous with her time and knowledge. Dr. Petrovich is never condescending and places you at total ease. I love her time management. You will never wait any longer than 15 minutes over your scheduled time to see her. A wonderful doctor.

Dr. Petrovich is indeed the most thorough doctor I have ever had. Very knowledgeable and has a great manner about her. I disagree with the comment about her office staff. They have always been friendly and courteous everytime I went in to see Dr. Petrovich, so I really don't understand what the negative comment about them was about.

I have been a patient of Dr. Petrovich's for several years. I have found her to be helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. The only negative is the front office staff at the clinic. They are not friendly or helpful.
