He must be overrated. Dr. Sayal botched my hemorrhoid surgeries at the Oakville Hospital not once but twice. His surgeries are like short-term bandage solutions that do not fix the real issues. The relapses occurred in just 1 or 2 months. It took 8 months and many unnecessary consultations just to get a surgery that'd require only five minutes to complete; feels like a subscription service to me. I had to resort to get the issue fixed in another country. And guess what, no appointments necessary and no gratuitous consultations and delays. Better to pay for a real surgery than to get another free botched surgery in this Soviet-style universal healthcare system again.

My most recent surgery was an emergency appendix surgery in July 2023 - Dr Sayal took care of the surgery. I have now recovered completely and I would rate the surgery as successful. I would rate Dr. Sayal as a very competent doctor and surgeon.

He was like a breath of fresh air. Out of many doctors, he was the one who finally ran the correct tests and found the correct diagnoses and treatment for my father. He was so kind and thorough, and always came to update me when i was there each day. It was always a surprise because in my experience, doctors rarely did that. The family really appreciated him and praised him. We thank him and the team of nurses in ICU.

From my first visit I felt totally comfortable. Greeted by Lisa, she gave me comfort and I felt like I was in good hands. After meeting Dr Sayal , I was confident that he would be the surgeon to make me better. He was pleasant, explained my procedure in full detail, and calmed my stress level. Cancer is a scary word. I am 4 weeks post op and the cancer is gone. Thank you Dr Sayal for taking such good care of me.
