I have been a patient of Dr Jovanovic for over 20 years. I have had 4 melanomas. I wouldn't be here if Dr Jovanovic hadn't seen and removed my melanomas. He is a great guy, he is thorough, and he cares. He inspects my whole body because melanomas can occur anywhere. I would hate to find out that my doctor protected my insecurities but let a melanoma take my life. Let him look everywhere. It could save your life. It has saved mine.

Newly diagnosed with melanoma. Fully recovered. dr. Was kind, professional, reassuring.
If anyone is concerned about his reassuring touch. I was standing up, never fully disrobed. I suggest that complainers should never have a manicure, pedicure or RMT therapy.
The Dr. needs to feel for lumps and bumps, under the skin, as well as raised melanoma. He is simply doing his job- quickly, confidently and thoroughly. We left my female dr. To deal with anything uncomfortable.

Hi, I have a been a patient of Dr. Jovanovic for 6 yrs and I understand the comments left about him touching your body. But, it doesn't bother me as he is just examining. He is informative in terms of medication, but, I find I am more the doctor less of the patient to give him guidance. But, overall that is not my main concern. It is the front desk! they are the worst. I can't believe they are still employed there. They give the doctor a bad representation. Worst ever! They never followup with faxing required documentation to my Pharmacist, Pharmcare, or other important organizations. I am left having these people contacting me to follow up with them cause they never get back after 2+ wks, after numerous calls and faxes. They are all frustrated and so it leaves me frustrated. I don't get paid to do their job! I should be getting their paycheck mailed to me.! My pharmacist said that their office is stupid and very RUDE and worst to deal with, top of the list of bad ratings, and said that all the pharmacists talk in the community and agree worst front desk and office ever. My pharmacy hates calling and dealing with them as it makes their job difficult. I get emails from my other medical organization saying they are almost fed up, so I am left calling them to tell them to do their job. They need to be fired and have new staff cause its a shame to have the Doctor have this kind of representation.. You suck!!!

In 2015, after having a small melanoma excised from my temple, I was referred to Dr. Jovanovic for dermatological care. Our first appointment together went well. He was very patient, respectful and an intent listener. After a thorough examination, He was happy to find nothing of concern on my skin. While putting on my coat, however, Dr. Jovanovic noticed something off about my balance and order an immediate CT scan of my head same day.Which showed a tumour growing in my brain. Further tests showed the melanoma had already spread and I was in stage four cancer.
Dr. Jovanovic took matters into his hands and within weeks placed me with a brain surgeon and oncologists. Only because of Dr. Jovanovic's diligence and care am I alive today.

Now in 2022 he continues to care for me in his calm and reassuring manner. Each appointment is a reminder of how lucky I am to have Dr. Jovanovic and the life that he has extended for me to enjoy.

Creep of a Dr. No excuse for it at all. Keep lying to yourself if you think him rubbing his hands all over your body is ok. Looking is one thing but touching is offside without the permission of his patients. Simply no excuse. Can’t continue to see him because of this exact reason. I should have listened to previous reviews. Feel violated.

I have been in the care of Dr Jovanovic for a number of years. I find him to be thoughtful, caring, thorough, personable and knowledgeable. Understandably he examines my entire body subsequent to a couple of diagnoses of skin dancer. In response to negative comments: I note the postings in the office that encourage patients to be accompanied if they wish; to ensure they are comfortable. Clearly the Dr wishes to remain transparent in this regard, and places values on patient comfort. I am very thankful for the care that I have received!

I have always found Dr. Jovanovic to be pleasant and pretty straight forward. He knows his stuff and although his delivery of information may be straight to the point, the upside is, we've never had a failure to communicate.

Long time patient and figured it is time to leave a review. I have seen Dr. Jovinovich for about 10 years now and have asked him to not put his hands on my body on areas that we are not treating. He is receptive to this and stops, thank goodness. He is just a very touchy person I suppose but it comes across as in appropriate and in today’s day and are it’s time to stop this behaviour. Now for the main reason of this review, his secretary Trish is the worst human being I have ever dealt with! She is so rude and b@ychy with everyone. I am blaming the Dr. Now as he is clearly aware of her behaviour. I have mentioned to him many times and resign the reviews on here it’s clear other people have as well. Time to let her go. She is miserable. Be warned if you use this Dr. To stand up for yourself if he touched you and makes you feel uncomfortable and get resdy to deal with the worlds rudest secretary.

I’m a fairly new patient of Dr Jovanovic for about 1-2 years now. The reason I want to leave this comment is because I need to tell how important for a dermatologist to do a head to toe check of skin.

I got skin cancer in my leg and I have seen 3 dermatologists in an office in surrey. They did my surgeries. Not one of them ever checked my whole body for other skin lesions else where. Why? They don’t want to contribute their valuable time on a skin cancer patient.... a boob job can easily make much more money. The main physician in surrey didn’t even explain much to me and only said my cancer is the worst of all skin cancer. He was in a rush and not personal.

In Australia it’s a routine check for GP to check your entire body for skin cancer. So if your neck got a lesion, a good doctor will check your entire body. I got a friend died of melanoma because of bad doctors.

Back to Dr Jovanovic. First visit he checked my entire skin. I addressed my concerns and anxious questions. He gave the time, the calming voice and facts to me. I also questioned relationship between parasites and skin problem. He’s not against it and gave me his opinion. Later I gave him a special test that only available in the states. He is willing to read more and know more and help me continue ordering the same test without me have to visit the dermatologist in the states. He never rushes. He is personal and listens to me. Yet he is professional. So I can’t say good enough about dr Jovanovic given the short period I saw him.

I’m writing this hoping people will appreciate he does a thorough examination. If you got cancer on your neck, you might have it anywhere else. A good dermatology needs to be thorough.
