Have been trying for a week now to find the words that would adequately describe my experience with Dr. Carter. Have not been successful! I had never met Dr. Carter. I was suffering with a large kidney stone. After speaking with his lovely receptionist she told me he'd call me within a day or so. I had a call within the hour! Short story is that Dr. Carter arranged for me to have surgery the next day b/c of the size of the stone. Dr. Carter is not only all the things others have written about (skilled, punctual, knowledgeable, informative) he is also kind, understanding, empathetic, compassionate, patient and most of all he has a "heart" - he not only looked at my medical condition but my family situation as well. I am so grateful for him . Dr. Carter is that vision of what we all hope and need our Dr.'s to be. Thank you Dr. Carter you are the best and I owe you a hug!!!

I saw Dr Carter about 6 months ago, and while he unfortunately couldn't give me a solution to my problem beyond what I was already doing, he at least *finally* gave me a diagnosis of chronic orchialgia after a year of not knowing what was wrong with me. While orchialgia may not be understood yet, a diagnosis will help me focus my own research efforts to find a solution. Hopefully I'll be seeing Dr Carter again when some miracle cure for orchiaglia is discovered.
