Very patient and gentle dentist. Highly recommended!

I have been a patient for a long time. I was very disappointed with the staff. I wanted to find out how much it would cost to do basic cleaning. It was very difficult to get all the codes together and the price. She said, Its too difficult give the codes and the price. After giving numbers back and forth and me continually asking again and again, each time she gave me a code, I had to ask for the price. She told me to get the price from Great West life (who is my insurance Co.). How does Great West life know what the dentist charges?

When talking to Great West Life, the girl there reminded me that I can refuse any procedure.

I just wanted to know the price of a regular cleaning, because the time before I spent about 1/2 hour for cleaning and they sent me a bill for $100 and GWL covers 80% I pay 20%.

So including the last visit and this phone conversation, I'm not happy about their ability to tell me how much its going to cost me BEFORE I get the bill.

Why is it so difficult to give me half an idea how much its going to cost? I been a patient for more than 10 years I think. Nothing has changed. If he finds a surprise, tell me what's new and we can deal with it.

My family have been patients for a very long time. We appreciate his his knowledge and we have never been diagnosed with anything other than what he sees in our X-rays and check ups. We are very happy patients.

Has been our family dentist for over 15 years and we are very happy with him. Not sure what he charges our insurance but never had to pay the difference so I am happy.

I have been Dr. Gwartsman's patient for over 10 years. I love that he opens on Sundays. He's patient & very knowledgeable. My only compaint is his hygienists. Some are quite rough and messy with the cleaning & scraping. But the most recent girl was very good. I wish the quality of his hygienist can be more consistent.
