We too were long-standing patients. He was a decent physician - not outstanding, but competent and providing basic care and referrals. However, there was also a change in his outlook and abilities around
2017, and we finally left when it became apparent he was no longer interested in anything other than churning the system. He seemed more interested in complaining to me about aspects of his practice than in listening to my concerns. The last straw was pushing the diet devised by his wife. He actually had the audacity to call us in for an appointment for this. He also was very reluctant to refer me for a simple procedure to treat a stye, sending me to a retired specialist at first, until the problem was much more pronounced. Glad to hear he is finally retiring, which he also told me about years ago in his plans- he checked out some time ago!

Have been a patient of Dr. Ghattas since he opened his practice and have always been impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and kindness. I find both him and his office colleagues over the years to have been exemplary, and consider myself lucky to have been his patient. Wishing him all the best in his upcoming and well-deserved retirement!

Mary the receptionist is incompetent for the position. She actually has no training in any shape or form for the position. Plus, she is Dr. Ghattas's cousin!!! True Fact!!
She is condescending, .irrational, and rude!! " I've heard her say multiple times "don't get near me I don't want to get sick" to me and other patients. Mary, you are delusional..hello you are in the industry of sickness.
Dr. Ghattas has the worst communication skills I have ever experienced and its getting worse. He doesn't listen, interrupts, gets loud and angry. His minimizing and maximizing my medical issues are all out of whack. There is no consistency. Some of his opinions and suggestions are just so out right DUMB!!
I can hear him do the same with other patients. The ethics, practices, and principles of the title have been lost!! He avoids discussing key issues at times that are important to my health, again with anger and rudeness.
But there are a few patients though that they do favour and at times it seems like a party. They are so polite and fun loving to these particular patients.
They are both very moody and unpredictable. On average, I may need to go 2 to 3 times a year and it gives me anxiety to go. I have been a patient for almost 30 yrs. Its been a steady decline. Time to hang them and Mary stay home. I don't give a rats ass about your billing by the way. Get to work!!! Ethics, Principles, Practices.. go back to school.

Mary, the receptionist, has zero communication skills. A receptionist with zero communication skills. What in the world were you thinking allowing her to rot your practice Dr.Ghattas! The doctor himself is mediocre. I have nothing outstanding to say about him- his punctuality was good. He prescribed me pills in the past for anxiety and depression and when they were not doing what had been anticipated after almost a year- he constantly wanted to raise the dosage instead of taking the time to find an alternative. I would not put my health in his hands.

Well the comments are true he really does push the diet his wife came up with. I’m sure years ago he was a great dr but now he has one foot out the dr. I also was told I was taking money away by going to the hospital for an emergency instead of seeing him. DON’T get me started on MARY! She is so rude!! I hate having to call and make an appointment because she’s so rude and makes you feel so small.

Dr. Paul Ghattas is one of a few how deeply cares for his patients the slights changes in the results automatically creates further test and quick referral to specialist . He takes the time to explain all results.
