She was 75 minutes late to spend 5 minutes with me. She was brusque and didn't explain anything. I didn'teven get to address the reason I was there. Aalso, she gave me a needle without telling me she was going to. I did not have a chance ask any of my questions, as she wrote me a (useless) prescription, told me to follow up with the front desk in 1 months and sent me out the door before I even knew what was happening. I have never been/felt so unheard. I'm genuinely wondering if she is racist because my mother (white) had a better experience with her than I (biracial) did.

I have had Lori as my doctor for over 15 years with nothing but praise for her every single visit. Extremely pleasant and attentive to my issues and health concerns.

Avoid this doctor at any cost she’s is the most arrogant self centred uncaring Doctor I’ve ever been referred to. Unfortunately I ended up with her through default as my original doctor passed away and he was a pure gem! This doctor only cares about her skin care line as it makes huge revenue. Your better off using Dr Google!

Absolutely horrible provider, has terrible bedside manner, and her knowledge is questionable. I had to demand of her to look at my skin because she would not even look my way and wanted to end the appointment within a minute and a half of walking into the office (late, may I add). Misdiagnosed me with psoriasis and treated me with the wrong medication even though I have classical eczema (I am a fellow provider). After the appointment she had the audacity to have her secretaries try to sell me her beauty products. I would never recommend her to anyone. She is clearly only after increasing her OHIP billings. Does not care for her patients.

Two times the same horrible experience. She literally took less than 3 minutes to wrap things up after a 1 hour wait. Her prescribed medication even was surprised the pharmacist and she double checked with the Dr. The Dr allowed only 1 minute to explain my son’s issue and cut me off rudely. The receptionists didn’t have a clue what Dr was sending to the printer

Simply avoid. Waited over a year for appointment because she kept cancelling and rebooking at a time I couldn’t go. Waited over an hour for appointment and more than thirty minutes in exam room, but less than thirty seconds total for exam and interaction with her. This tells me she overbooks and likely overcharges our medical system for her own benefit. She didn’t take a thorough history or even understand the purpose of my visit. She ranted about resources, complained about the referring doctor and I left without actually discussing the second reason I was referred. This was an entire waste of my time and worse the medical system’s scarce money. Now I have to bill OHIP to see someone else who will actually ask and listen about the reasons for my visit.

Worse staff of any doctor anywhere. They’re not helpful at all. They power trip over their ability to book you an appointment. There is no one I like less than all of Dr Shapiro’s stff save Jessica who is the only professional. I would throw every single one out. Every. Single. One. Dr Shapiro is amazing herself this the frustration of having to deal with her staff complement. Your staff is not helpful. Get new people please. We all know it’s hard to get good people these days but you’ve got the worst of the worst.
