Its a lark putting in person visits because I dont know anybody whose had one, Also I wonder how receptionist know your medical business and try to give medical advice. Thank goodness I am not a patient there after I sat and listened to the palaver my cousin had with this surgery.

Since they have the new system of being triaged, the surgery has gone seriously downhill. Phoned Monday and had to wait till Thursday for the appointment. Tried speaking to 2 different receptionists as I really needed an appointment that day and they just repeated the same scripted information.
The doctor that triaged me seemed like he couldn’t be bothered. Incidentally, he’s the only doctor that was ever available to speak to or have appointments with prior to the triage system being brought in. Wonder why? Couldn’t be that he doesn’t care about patients, could it?
The triage doctor is also someone who told me to call an ambulance for minor symptoms and tried to prescribe something I am allergic to.

He is wonderful - been my GP for 40 years since a newly arrived junior- could not ask for more from a "family doctor". He helped my terminally ill mother who worshipped him - could not ask for more. Sadly he does not see as many patients these days because as head of practice he obviously spends alot of time on administration. it is an honour to get an appointment with him
