Dr. Bovard is an excellent physician. He is practical, solution oriented, and has a pleasant and friendly manner. His staff can come across as rather rude and abrupt, however.

Dr Bovard is very knowledgable & professional. He gets right down to business and is alwasy up front with what is going on. I have been dealing with him for 20 years as my family doctor. You may have to wait for a while because he is busy but you know when you see him you will get to the "root" of the problem and have his undivided attention.

Jim has been very good ....his staff are rude and uncaring. Don't expect to recieve anything like consideration, understanding or compassion from them. They suck...plain and simple.

Dr. Bovard has been my family physician for over 14 years, he is quick but very knowledgeable. He doesn't try to push pills to solve problems and looks for alternative treatment. My family and I commute from the fraser valley to see him (a 1 hour drive), so that must say something.

I was in a car accident ...sore neck told it was whiplash and go to physio ...no xray. I had a broken neck and torn rotator cuff ...it took 6 months to get diagnosed and dealt with. Was told the whole time it was in my head. Horrible man!

This doctor should be banned from medical practice! For 6 months he chose to ignore the signs of anemia, constipation, unexplained weight loss and just told my 72 year old friend to eat more fibre. Well, my friend ended up having half of his colon resected because of colorectal cancer. Now, he has likely spread to his lungs (unexplained shortness of breath and weight loss), but this unprofessional and uncaring and incompetent doctor refuses to send him for tests. Avoid this doctor at any cost if you want to live.

He has been my family Doctor for the past 18 years, to me he is simply the best in knowledge, diagnosis, care, and being updated on the issues. He will do his best to get to the root of the problem and deal with it with the latest treatments available.

What is off-putting about this doctor is his practice of systematically charging all patients an admin fee, strictly prohibited under MSP rules. Patients DO NOT have to pay.

I saw Dr. Bovard for prolotherapy for Achilles tendon problems. My only other choice was rather disgusting surgery. Dr. Bovard was VERY knowledgable, willing to exhaust all other means to avoid the surgery, and incredibly sympathetic when administering the injections, which truly are not very pleasant. The prolotherapy is like a "miracle cure" once it starts to take effect. I have not seen this doctor for any other complaints, but would seriously consider moving to his general practice if I ever had cause to leave my current doctor. Highly recommended!
