I absolutely love Dr Eldridge, she has been so great! Dr Eldridge understands everything I tell her, dismisses nothing and even calls to check up with me. I could care less for secretary. & I absolutely love her nurse! I would recommend Dr Eldridge to anyone, she is one of the greats and everyone deserves to have a doctor like her.

What a great experience with Dr. Eldridge. She was on call (Extended Hours Clinic) for my regular doctor. I was early and was seen ahead of my scheduled appointment time, which was great. The secretary was very friendly and accommodating . Dr. Eldridge was a delight. From the moment she walked into the room and introduced herself ... throughout everything. I couldn't have been happier. She was thorough and detailed, friendly and reassuring, completed a referral requisition and faxed it while I was there, and even said that if I have not received a call within two weeks with an appt date with the specialist that I should call HER office directly, as she made the referral, and she will follow up herself to make sure someone calls. By the time I see my own doctor next I will hopefully have seen the specialist, and she will have the report ... thus speeding things all along in an unusually (for the health care system) efficient manner.

As I said, I couldn't have been happier.

I will say, though ... and this is nothing to do with Dr. Eldridge ... that the hospital emergency dept and the Extended Hours Clinic (this one and other similar extended hours and after hours and day clinics across the city) should coordinate: When I arrived at my appt I was the only patient in the waiting room. Dr. Eldridge was with one other patient, and I was next. When I left there was still no one in the waiting room. I have had similar experience when seeing other on call doctors in the past. While wait times at the hospital can be 3, 4, 5+ hours. Perhaps the hospital could refer some patients over to various family doctors with empty waiting rooms, canceled appointments, or who otherwise don't have a full schedule and could see coughs, colds, ear aches, minor injuries, etc in the office much more quickly than the doctor in the ER can see them all.

Dr. Eldridge is a great doctor! She's very compassionate and I think she's great, especially for younger children. However, she sometimes brushes things off and I find myself having to make constant appointments with her for the same issues because she doesn't always give a proper solution. She dismisses almost everything, every time I make an appointment. She wouldn't even refer me to another doctor who is more specialized in my health issues. Her receptionist is not as nice, and she tries to give medical advice over the phone as if she doesn't want you to book an appointment. The nurses there are very sweet!

Dr. Eldridge is a very caring, competent, non judgemental doctor. I have always been satisfied with her recommendations and treatment. I believe that she is a doctor because she loves her job and is good at it! I have been her patient since a child and hope she is around for when I have children. I do not care very much for her receptionist but not everything can always be perfect!

Like most other people, this doctors is very pleasant and polite and even my kids like her. However, i find that she speculates a lot rather than testing for problems and i am not comfortable with that. Also, i would her to focus more on preventing problems by finding out where the ackes and pains are coming from, but i get dismissed a lot. I have given up solving any problems here, so i have to pay for a naturopath to help me solve subclinical issues like food sensitivities and allergies that i think have caused muscle and joint problems starting in my 20s.I have had a skin condition for 4 years now and she refuses to send me to see a dermatologist. Not very happy.

She is awesome. I just don't care much for the nurse that works for her. I liked the nurse at the old office way better.

Dr. Eldridge is very caring - she treats you like a person not a number and always seems to have time for you (even if I do ask silly questions sometimes). If the solution is perhaps diet or vitamins she will say so, not just giving out the latest drugs. Can't imagine a better doctor.
