STAY AWAY. Dr Weinman is DANGEROUSLY SENILE, ALMOST DEAF, GROSSLY NEGLIGENT, IRRITABLE, AND ABUSIVE.
His mental abilities have degraded to the point that he can no longer figure out how to operate his computer system, has no idea how to even pull up a patient's chart to figure out what medications a patient was already taking, and relies on the patient to tell him . He pretends otherwise, saying "I know what you're taking, but why don't you tell me?
And then you spend 20 minutes trying to give him the dosages for 2 medications because he can't hear you, and when he does, he switches the numbers around. He asks how you are, then ignores what you say, and says "You look better. Much much better. This is because medication is working. Yes, yes, medication is working. Is my medication, is good medication." (I was prescribed these by a previous doctor, he's just continued them without change.) Then he asks you how you are doing again, because he's completely forgotten that he asked you. Repeat that loop 3 or 4 times. And if you dare point out that he should be keeping track of this, or that he's repeating himself, he becomes extremely angry, and threatens to terminate your treatment, saying "You go find other doctor, you no like how I do it."
God help you if you need actual diagnosis or a properly dosed prescription, because you might as well do it yourself.

I have never been seen at my scheduled time.I usuallywait about 1/2 hour to be seen.Dr Weinmann is ready to retire.Doesnt want to handle anything out of the ordinary.His bedside manner is caustic at best.The meds he prescribed are right on,but the dread I have on seeing him isn't worth it

Doctor Weinman is the first psychiatrist I've gone to who has actually helped me instead of pushing an agenda. We discussed previous medications I've been on and he didn't dismiss my concerns about the side effects I'd experienced, and he was able to get me on a combination and dosage that really works for me. He knows a lot about what he's prescribing and how my other conditions affect my mental health.

Does not listen to what you say. Loses interest after you have seen him for awhile. Does not communicate well with other drs

He seemed to help at first, but as time went on it seemed as though he ignored what I was saying. Eventually It made my anxiety level worse seeing him because he didn't listen to my concerns.

He can be very inpatient sometime times but other than that a good doctor.

Very knowledgeable. He is the only physician who has every been able to find a drug combination that has allowed me to have a happy and stable life. He has even been able to taper down the amount and dosage of medications safely and increased them during times of crisis with little to no problems. He has been a godsend to me and my family. Although he does not communicate well with hospitals, although I've only been hospitalized once while with him, he does communicate very well with me, my family and my insurance company all within the same day when needed. I can alway count on either getting a call, a prescription and/or an appointment very quickly. I highly recommend him to anyone.

He is kind, caring, and generally interested in your well being. He has worked with me on finding the right medications. I have seen a vast improvement in my condition because of him. I highly recommend him! He is always available and returns call the same day.
