His un caring and lack of taking a medical and family history caused a debt (blood clot) that he now denies ever giving me the birth control pills that caused it. But he did tell me I wouldn't have to pay my bill which was $3800.00

After having a tubal ligation by another doctor, 2 yrs later I found myself having lots of pain and tiredness that left me unable to walk. My husband rushed me to city hospital. All I remember was doctor brown coming in and telling us that we were pregnant but no uterine echoes were found after a sonogram. We were told we were approximately 3 months along and that emergency surgery had to be done. Dr. Brown pulled it off without a problem...having to remove that tube. With regular care, I was pregnant again 3 months later, but only a few weeks along. Dr. Brown sent me to have blood tests every 24 hours to see if the baby had made it to the right place. It hadn't and there I was...doctor Brown operating again. After he saved my life the first time, I trusted him to take care of me...especially since I hadn't been a regular patient before our ER meeting. After the second surgery, he brought me in just to have a heart to heart and let me know how he fixed it so it couldn't happen again.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Brown ! I had endometriosis (beyond the 4th stage) and other doctors in this area were telling me that i needed to just have a hysterectomy but I wanted to have a child and Dr Brown was awesome! He went in and checked me out and I had surgery to remove the endometriosis and adhesions a few months later I was pregnant! I had already had 11 miscarriages so I was considered a very high risk pregnancy. Dr Brown was the best doctor I have ever had, very caring, best beside manner. I knew the risks of having a baby with everything that I had to go through & when my son was born, Dr Brown had to preform an ER Hysterectomy with the equivalent of salad spoons! He was so very upset - actually he was upset & I was alright, as I said I knew my risks. I would recommend him to everyone...He is the BEST!

The Best!Kind, caring able to perceive and deal with complications easily and works well with staff and family members. He makes you feel like his only patient-that is my baby, my husband and me.He expresses a tremendous breadth of knowledge and talks about your health in a way you can understand. My son would not be the same without Dr. Brown's dedicated care at his birth.

I was having complication with my pregnancy and when I called into the office with my concerns the staff was rude and uncaring. After 2 weeks of waiting for an appointment to confirm everything was still alright I was put on a table we checked the baby he didn't tell me anything. He asked about the weather and then insulted me about he local weather. When I was jumping up and down excited about being pregnant he looked at me with disgust. This was the first visit and nothing was accomplished. I will be going to someone else as soon as possible.

Not caring or personable delivering bad news. He advised me to go to Morgantown, just to stay within the WV System, but Winchester and Frederick are much closer and convenient to Martinsburg. My insurance could care less about WVU Systems. Why was my convenience not considered? Besides that, the diagnosis that I was totally wrong. Thank goodness, there was nothing wrong with my baby after all. I delivered a healthy baby, full term. I went to Winchester, VA for a second opinion. Thank God for that!
