I have been with Dr Coury for four years. Although he and his staff are fast and efficient, I never feel like the Doctor cares for me as a patient. They do have a lab in the office that is convenient.

Unlike some of the other comments, although I have found the staff to be rather 'cool', they have always been efficient. I've had prescriptions called in before I make it back home. The lady who makes your follow-up appointments is extremely nice and efficient. It's the only doctor I've ever been to where you don't wait and wait to get in. They are almost always on time. Dr. Coury does not waste his time with me, but is always ready to listen and answer any of the questions I have. I write them down, so that I don't waste his time or mine.

Coury Family Medicine is by far the most incompetent Doctor's office I have ever visited. The office staff is rude (especially Heather) and they routinely neglect to call your prescription into your pharmacy. The front office girls are too busy texting their girlfriends to provide patient service. If you love rude incompetent office staff, then this is your physician's office.

I've been going to his office for about 4 years. I have also seen a couple of his Physician Assistants who are available quickly. I have found this office and him to be competent and caring. Wait time is far superior to others. This group always makes an excellent effort even though they are human. I have a difficult and diverse medical history and he has managed me quite well.

I am a registered nurse.I have been Dr Coury's patient for many years. He is one of the smartest and most compassionate doctors I have come across. His office staff are excellent. I work at a local emergency room and over the years I have seen many of his patients. I hear nothing but praise about him and his office. That is how I decided to become his patient. Many of the nurses I know use him as their Primary care physician. If you really want to know who is a good doctor, ask a nurse. He is very knowledgeable , dedicated and caring. I am glad he is my primary care physician. Neither me nor any of my family or friends that see him have ever had any problems with him or his office staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Coury's for several years and really only had to see him for the occasional cold until now. Throughout the years, I have never felt that Dr. Coury or his staff showed any compassion for their patients, which was especially true at my appointment today. In scheduling my appointment, I specifically requested that Dr. Coury take the time to listen to my ailments and help give me identify the cause and a a course of action in treating them. Dr. Coury had no interest in listening to my concerns and flat out told me that he would only deal with the top two. The first one I mentioned, he completely dismissed even though 2 other doctors were adamant that it needed to be treated. For the 2nd one, he simply prescribed medicine without examining me. He finally did a breathing test and checked my ear infection after I requested him to do so. Dr. Coury lacks empathy and humanism. I felt like a cow going to slaughter. I am furious that I had to pay to be treated poorly!

Came in with severe knee pain. Given a cortisone injection and a prescription that I never should have been given due to my heart condition. Thankfully I called my Cardiologist to clear it with him, as I do with all meds., and was told STOP IMMEDIATELY! It causes a stroke, heart attack and sudden death. I also told my kidney Doctor about it and he said the same thing. I NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN THAT MED. My pharmacist put a red flag on it. I understand everyone reacts differently to meds. this one is a pure danger for the heart. I told him all my problems, stents, triple bypass, pacemaker and defibulator and 2 heart attacks, but this just shows how he listened to me. First and last time he will see me or my family.
