I actually worked there & can tell you Dr Feldberg is not interested in your health. He is only interested in your money. I personally saw how he mistreated patients, including children, repeatedly! He billed insurance for things that were not done, he padded insurance bills, he did work on patients who did not need it, & he preyed on people who were older, in pain, or children. He STILL doesn’t wear gloves, holds patients down in the chair physically to restrain them, is busy doing personal things (chatting on the phone with friends!) that should wait while patients are in the chair waiting, & yells at patients, yes even the children. He is a poster child for a self absorbed, a complete narcissist, has a God complex, & actually doesn’t have the skills or knowledge to be a good dentist. Look at where he went to dental school! It was because he couldn’t get in anywhere else that was good! He thinks he is a God. After 6 months of watching this, reading reviews of him, seeing that the Board had done nothing about this when he was caught before, the high turn over if staff, I had to leave too. He actually asked me why I was leaving. He didn’t understand & didn’t want me to leave. He said to talk to him like he was my brother. I told him straight out he is taking advantage of people, jeopardizing their health, a fraud, incapable of compassion or change, & dangerous. He said he was going through some personal issues (he always says this) & would change. Well, he hasn’t changed one bit since the Department of Health investigated him all those years ago. DO NOT GO HERE!

It is very rare to find a business, albeit even one in the care of patients, who shows such high regard and personal caring FOR their patients.
We contacted New England Dental Center with serious dental / oral issues that my Vietnam Veteran Husband has. Even though we said that we exist on his disability and have no dental insurance, we were treated with utmost respect. From our first phone inquiry, to our subsequent visits and every interaction, including additional phone calls and emails, we have been treated as if we were the most valued patients possible.

Every employee was so congenial, and pleasant to be with. Immediately upon walking in, we felt so very welcomed. When we met Mrs. Feldberg, she “welcomed us to their house”, and that is exactly what is felt like; that we were guests of honor, not just simply a client number.
Dr. Phillip Feldberg is as invested in my husband’s treatment plan as if Jim were one of his family. The personal interest that Dr. Feldberg has taken in assuring that my husband has quality care not only has been outstanding, but really uplifting.
Everything about New England Dental Center has been very professional, and entirely welcoming.

My husband’s care needs are going to be extensive, and on-going.
I trust New England Dental Center, where people really seem to be the most important part of their business.

23 years ago Dr. Feldberg helped me out of a severe dental problem. Sure he gets emotional some times and doesn't always use gloves however, His root canals have lasted all this time.

Worst dental experience of my life! Being extremely denal phobic i waited till an emergency drove me to pick from available dentkst close to home...Arrived at his office he gave me several over priced options made me set up a payment plan i Couldnt afford before i was able to get treatment ...i was in so much pain it was a friday....so i signed on the dotted line....he handed me over to an othe dentist...great sense of humor...but ultimately was a nightmare, had to go back 5 times for work on this root canal with was infected to the bone...when it didnt clear up right away he became angry and rough with me, accusing me of not taking the antibiotics...the novocaine was not working yet he proceeded...tears streaming down my face...even the assistant was uncomfortable with his treatment...i came back to funshish he apologized, said he was going through personal issues....i did not finish the bridge work.....they repeatedly harrassed me for continued payments..depite havung paid them well over what my co pay was ....RUN. ,AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY.It was very unsanitary as well.

WINDSOR — The State Dental Commission has suspended the license of Windsor dentist Philip C. Feldberg -- once known as TV's Dr. Happy Tooth -- for 60 days and fined him $1,000 for using unsanitary health practices.

The commission also determined that incompetent care was performed by Feldberg's practice on two occasions. In one case, the commission found, a woman was not informed or properly treated for a hole in her tooth. The other offense was what the commission said was a hygienist's taking of four X-rays when only one was needed.

Feldberg is a horrible dentist. He has a long history of poor dentistry skills and has no ethics.
