Dr. Cooper is the most competent and caring doctor I have ever experienced. She goes above and beyond for her patients which is phenomenal when compared to other doctors in this province. She is very thorough and detailed in her observations and diagnoses. However, it can be very difficult to get in to see her. I am currently waiting 5 weeks to see her and on a cancelation list...I'm not sure if she has emergency appointment openings. Perhaps not at this time, as her receptionist has gotten my kids in earlier before. Perhaps she gives preference to sick children, which is definitely okay. I can't stand seeing other doctors now because I don't feel they are as thorough or as competent as she is.

Dr. Cooper was fantastic! I really do recommend her. She made me feel comfortable during my appointment and had excellent bedside manner. Unfortunately, she's not my family doctor, so I just went one time. But during that visit, she noticed a suspicious mole (totally unrelated to the reason I was there) and referred me to a dermatologist where I later learned that the mole was Malignant Melanoma. She has a great attention to detail and truly listens to your concerns. A+ doctor.

Dr. Cooper is an amazing physician and a very caring person. It may take weeks to get an appointment to see her, but if my issue was pressing, she could get me in earlier. She spends time with her patients and actually listens. Her assessments are global. I feel like she cares about my health. I consider myself very lucky to have her as my family physician. I've heard many horror stories about other physicians in the Avalon Peninsula.

Dr. Cooper is fantastic;however, she is extremely hard to get into see! I have been told on several occasions that the wait time is 3-4 weeks at times, or been told to try the emergency dept! I understand that she is extremely busy and she is very thorough with her patients but if you need to see a dr than that option should be open to you and not be told to try going to emergency instead.

Dr. Cooper is very thorough in her examinations. She is very observant and she listens very attentively and asks a lot of questions when I describe a problem. She answers any questions I may have and she is more than willing to order/complete appropriate medical tests. She has never dismissed any concern I have ever had with regards to myself or my two children. This, in my opinion, sets her far above the other GPs I have experienced. She is very friendly and her staff go above and beyond to schedule us in when we have emergencies! I can not imagine what I we will do if she is ever left medicine! If she ever moved to Brazil I think we would have to follow her there! hahaha.

I feel so fortunate that we have Dr Cooper for our family doctor. She goes above and beyond and truly cares about her patients! We hit the lottery when she accepted our family as her patients!

Dr. cooper is an expert and a human! She has taken great care of my mother and has always treated my minor problems with compassion and understanding. A lot of Doctors could take a page from her book.
