I am extremely disappointed following an upper left molar extraction by Dr. Craig. The evening of the extraction was very concerning to me as I could not stop the profuse bleeding in my mouth. I thought it was coming from the surgery wound but on closer inspection, there was about a one inch slit on my tongue and further back a small cut which bled for more almost two days. I read on the internet that I should place ice in a gauze on the tongue and apply pressure, which I did and it finally helped to stop the bleeding. I called the dental office the next morning and my call was returned later in the morning. I explained the problem and told them what I was doing to try and stop the bleeding but asked that Dr. Craig call me but he did not. To make matters worse, it’s now been a week since my extraction and I have been left with a black and blue bruise along my left jaw and above my mouth and the inside of my mouth is still sore. I still don’t know for sure why this happened but I am assuming that it was due to the extreme pressure being exerted on the dam that was inserted to keep my jaw open and it was pressing down onto my tongue and jaw. I was surprised that following the extraction, Dr. Craig immediately got out of his chair and left with no explanation as to how the extraction went, what to expect or even well-wishes, a good-bye or thank you. The experience was very disappointing and unpleasant, however, thankfully, I have not had any issues so far with the wound left from the extraction.

I am new to west end Napanee and thought this would be a handy location. I am sick to my stomach about the amount of money they just took from me for my new patient exam! Plus they made me sit in an office afterwards through what seemed like a sales pitch for work that I'm certain I don't need. Everyone here is at me for my money - reception, the hygienist, the dentist..... I will be seeking a second opinion. I wish I had come to this page before my appointment, I would have cancelled.

ALL ABOUT THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR.
Outrageous prices.
Definitely push other costly procedures and act as though its all for your benefit or mislead you into thinking that its for your oral health benefit.

Unfortunately, I felt as though it was more of a sales meeting than a new patient visit. They are all about making money, and it starts with the Hygienist. I was astounded by the time I left. I have since seen another Dentist in Napanee, who was excellent and did not feel that ANY of the treatments suggested at Dr. Craig's office were necessary. I'm sorry I wasted my time and money.
