Walked out of the facility today. Will not return. Most egregious behavior in chronological order. Feb 2021. Appointment at noon. Arrived early. Seated in the exam room by 12:05. At 1:15 no one had informed me he'd be late, he was tied up, or would show at some point. I sat for 70 minutes. I left. Dec 2020. Needed my medical records for a new Life Ins policy. This facility made it impossible to retrieve them. Took me two months, multiple emails and phone calls and a lot of bad direction from the staff. Oct 19. My father was a 93YO patient with a chronic debilitating illness. Dad called me in my office to get him to the ER at 9:00 AM. ER staff tried getting an admission order and medication order from Goldstein for hours. Finally got it at around 5 or 6 PM. Dad died later that night after being in the ER with no pain management for hours. Summer 19. Sat in the lobby of this clinic for an hour. Left. He may understand medicine, but neither he, nor Norton, understand people.

I have been a patient of Dr Stephen Goldsteins for over a decade. I first started seeing him annually for check ups and have developed a few minor medical conditions over the years. He is knowledgeable and experienced in my opinion. My main problem since day one is his wait times. Schedule 2.5 hrs min of your life if you schedule with him. I work 60 or so hours per week and have most of my career and have a hard time scheduling with him usually with three days notice or so. A big problem is follow up communications with him and his staff. If you don't get things done during the "15 min" visit then just try to reschedule, or find a new doctor, because he won't respond to any follow up Needs in a timely fashion. His staff might return your call, but no sooner than three days later, or not at all. It's a crap shoot. Classic case of having too many patience and not enough staff. It's a profit thing I'm sure. Hope he makes billions, but for me, I'm off to find a better provider of care.

He knows what he's doing if you can get in to see him. But be advised he's always at least a hour behind schedule.

He is the greatest md i've ever had. No nonsense but takes the time to explain the research on my problem and present me with the pros and cons of our options.

He treats my 89 year old mother and his care and concern for his patients is far above the norm. He puts patients and the family at ease. She HATES doctors but LOVES and respects Dr. Goldstein. He is straightforward but not an alarmist. He is no-nonsense but takes time to answer questions. We would highly recommend him.

Very good bedside manner. Rushed, as they all are these days.
