After suffering for 12 years with Crohn's disease and most recently diagnosed with dysplasia, I had to have a total proctocolectomy with an ileostomy. Dr. Vargas is my savior! I researched doctors for months and he is by far the best thing to happen to the colorectal surgery department.

Dr. Vargas is very nice and knowledgeable. He removed a pionidal cyst from my sacral back area. The procedure went smoothly. These cysts are oddly shaped and very deep. I feel that he did an excellent job getting it all out while not damaging tissue. His stitches are well placed and have healed quickly and correctly. Five stars. If another appears, I will definitely return to him.

This man actually saved my husband from cancer surgery. We were told my husband had colorectal cancer. Dr Vargas did the surgery and guess what? No cancer! He called us dec 23 while on vacation to let us know! I say, get a second opinion. This man is very professional and knows what he is doing! Choose him and you have chosen the right doc! I highly recommend him!

Doctor is good man. Takes care to review patient issues and gives patient respect and great care and concern for questions and issues involved. Gives details in manner which is very understandable and reliable and ensuring trusting patient care.
