I have seen Dr. Edwards several times over the past 12 years. He is very caring and knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain and listen. I feel he is responsive to both the physical and emotional needs of the patient.

This doctor may know his medicine and may be extremely punctual, but, in our opinion, he does not know how to be courteous or caring. Not helpful with explanations. Not helpful with patient problems or concerns. Book smarts is not all that is needed to be an effective doctor. A good bedside manner is a must! Didn't feel like we could ask questions, seemed he was offended by them. Did not feel he had our best interest in mind, did not want to hear problems or concerns. Nurse was horribly rude on the phone. Very "put out" by having to do what we consider her job, i.e., prescription refills. Overall, very discourteous office if you did not want to be a lemming and fall in line, ask no questions, make no demands on the quality of care. Doctor may know his medicine, but, in our opinion, he does not know how to treat human beings with courtesy or respect. Again, this is just my opinion, but apparently other people in the medical community have heard that too, or so I have heard
