Contrary to other reviewers, I have always been taken to an exam room upon arrival, and have waited no more than 5 minutes for Dr.Thoreson to arrive. He is terrific! He was able to stop my knees from sliding out of their sockets using a series of injections. After suffering for 6 months before seeing him, his treatment helped immediately. My knee surgeon and my prolotherapy physician had no idea what to do to help me. He is very thorough. Before prescribing he always mentions the latest cost/benefits for a particular medication. Unlike a large clinic, he comes to know and cares for every patient personally. I like this a lot. I also like his staff, who are attentive and welcoming. This is a genuine, unsolicited review!

Dr. Thoreson is the only doctor that actually cured many physical problems I had from a car accident. And he cured them with IV's of vitamins and minerals. He has been a miracle worker for me. One does has to wait quite in the waiting room, but he really focuses on you once it is your turn.

On four out of my five visits, Dr. Thoreson was very late. On two visits I waited more than 30 minutes, and one visit over 45. While I have no doubt that he is a very knowledgeable and competent doctor, I find his bedside manner to be impersonal and somewhat arrogant. I felt he was impatient - he didn't listen before rattling off treatment options.

Puctuality: Well i didn't have to wait long in the waiting room, but when once i was taken back to the exam room it was a very long wait on each of my 5 visits. Helpfulness: I had knee trouble and he suggested a series of shots to help the ligaments repair itself. Well this did nothing even after the first series of shots, but he concluded that more were necessary since I had extensive scar damage. Well after several visits I saw no improvement so I went to see my orthopedic who ordered a MRI. Well nothing was wrong with my ligament, but he cartildge in the knee was the problem. Comment: It seemed to me that when i had a discussion with Dr. Thoreson he very rarely stop talking to let me get a word in and when he did he never seem to even listen to what i was saying.

Dr. Thoreson has many alternative suggestions for your problems and spends a good amount of time with you to listen to your concerns.
