Had a February 2 , 2023 appointment scheduled for zoom. Dr Perla was a no show. While I waited on my computer via zoom , I called her office four times via my cell over a two hour period. Her staff said stay on zoom . Dr Perla is running behind schedule. Her office did not call to apologize or reschedule. Instead, I received a message the next morning via automated email stating I missed my appointment. I was 5 minutes early to zoom and held for 2 hours. My iPhone call logs show no missed calls from their office. Just me calling 4 times. Unbelievable….

I ended up in Dr Perla's office after a nasty attack of diverticulitis that landed me in the ER. I had no idea I had diverticular disease. She was thorough, attentive, and took her time explaining my new reality and helping me understand what was going on with my body. Most doctors are rushed to get from one patient to the next. Not Dr. Perla! I have only had one long wait, but I felt it was worth it because I knew she would take the same amount of time with me. When talking to me about my condition, she was kind, but honest. She didn't beat around the bush, which I appreciate. I was nervous about the colonoscopy but she did everything she could to put my mind at ease. It was simple and, honestly, a non-event. I trust Dr Perla and recommend her to everyone!

She is a wonderful doctor did my first colonoscopy and she and I wouldn't want anybody else to do it except her very curious you're very nice doctor

Inaccurate diagnosis, told us mild case of UC and had seen a lot worse, 3 weeks later was forced to have emergency colorectomy surgery at the Cleveland Clinic after going being admitted to another different hospital prior. Took her well over 8hrs after the request from to fax over medical records to the admitting hospital. Never called to check in on us as her client, knowing that we were admitted for something directly connected to her scope of work we were consulting with her for in the first place....Very complicated, brief and short narratives/descriptions on colonoscopy, only 2 photos on her repots. Our second and 3rd opinion had well over 10 photos and very detailed description of findings. Prescribes the worse and cheapest prep product for the colonoscopy per the other GI professionals we consulted with.
