Mr Dr. pepper Toomey Only cares about money he is a liar and a professional salesman. I had reconstructive surgery on my ankle by him, he failed to mention that this surgery would only last 10 years at most. He is very arrogant, disrespectful, ungrateful and rude, he will tell you what you want to hear because all he cares about is money. His Surgery created more problems for me like back pain and my other ankle has problems now. I was in my 20s when he did the surgery on me. He will gladly push pain pills on to u and give u a bad habit just to keep You returning to his office. Also he even talked about fusing my ankle another couple hundred thousand dollars. I would never Recommend this doctor he’s a bad person, he does not care about you or the rest of your life and or the quality of life you live...

I shattered my ankle and was 37 weeks pregnant. Dr. Toomey displayed great care ensuring the safety of me and my unborn child. He consulted with the OB-GYN group extensively prior to surgery and the surgery was a success. I will always be grateful to him and the Swedish staff for the great care and treatment they provided me and my healthy child (born just a week after surgery)! It's been a few years now, but I completed a 20 mile trail run not too long ago and there are no issues with my ankle.

I had the misfortune of choosing this physician for foot surgery. He operated on the wrong toe! He did procedures we didn't even discuss. He put pins in my foot which started to come out
immediately. My foot is still in constant pain, worse than before surgery. At the same time my
toes are now always on pins and needles. From the day after surgery he answered every question with the same "I don't know". His staff was disagreeable and hard to communicate with. $28,000 later and my foot is in far worse shape than before I ever saw him. I'm sorry I
ever made an appointment to see this butcher! He ruined my foot!

In my many years of dealing with professional doctors, both as clients and on the services side of the fence, this was the worst experience ever. The doctor was 2 hours late for my appointment. He is extremely arrogant, and does not seem interested in anything but the proceedure itself......He made me feel I was lucky to be in his presence. We elected to go elsewhere......I sympathize with his partners. As good of a surgeon as he may be........he is not for me!

This doctor not only doesn't have a bedside manner -- he seems to avoid looking patients in the eye. He did not seem open to answering any questions at all. The instant he realized that I didn't need surgery, he very obviously lost interest.

Dr Toomey had a fight with my insurance company after refusing to submit the appropriate paperwork for a procedure that was needed. As a result, I wound up suffering with agonizing foot and ankle pain for months until I was able to find a new doctor. I wasted MONTHS of my life trying to dicker with his office. VERY unprofessional.

I broke my ankle in three places & shattered most of those bones. It was pinned & plated. It's been almost 2 years and my ankle feels great. He did my other ankle when I tore a tendon & I wouldn't go to anyone else other than him.

Very friendly staff, very easy going, explained everything in detail. I ended up not having surgery at this point but would go with Dr. Toomey. Offices were clean --which is important to me and easy to get to.

Excellent skills. I had a shattered bone that was repaired with minimal scarring. He and his staff are 100 about the patient
