I had seen Dr. Levin awhile ago and had a negative experience that I remember clearly because it was sort of traumatizing. I was referred to him by my dentist because I was having TMJ jaw issues, lots of clicking and pain. I met with Dr. Levin and explained my jaw issues. That it hurt to open my mouth, there was clicking, etc. He said there was nothing he could do and that I should "stop performing so much oral sex"....yes that is what he actually said to me with a creepy smirk on his face. As a 20 something old female (at the time) I was totally caught off guard and offended by his comment. It was out of context and I had no rapport with him that would allow him to make crude jokes with me. I hope he has learned by now that these type of comments are not appropriate.

seemed good at first, but later on lots of conflict arrived. Kept my braces and elastics on for an extra year because he was trying to fix one minor thing that turned out to not be able to be fixed. If I hadn’t have told him that it was getting absurd and they needed to come off, who knows how much longer he would have kept them on. He also told me to go see a senior dentist to get his opinion on something, and didn’t even write anything to the dentist, just told me to go pass on information. Senior dentist then said that the thing he thought was an issue wasn’t, and didn’t need to be fixed, but dr levin put me through more stuff to fix it anyways. He recently retired, and his replacement seems to be doing a good job.

Have had both kids seen by Dr Levin who is excellent. The same cannot be said about the receptionists. They are often condescending and rude consistently over the last 4 years. Really unfortunate and for this reason would not recommend this practice to anyone

Secretary was abruptly rude every single visit...
felt like a minority and disrespected. If I was in charge she would be fired. Dr. Keith Levin was great and super nice however when I got my braces off there was a gap in my teeth and he said he can’t fix, a dentist would have to fix it?? But that’s the whole point of braces.

If I could do this all over again I would choose a different orthodontist

Factory orthodontics at its worst. Dr goes from patient to patient with no hand washing. He does change gloves between patients but then handles common items in the office such as pens without any attempts at basic hygiene before going back in the patients mouth.

Office staff extremely rude. If I had to do it all over again I would choose a different orthodontist because of the staff

I found Dr. Levin was very good at explaining my treatment plan, he made sure I had enough information to make the right choice. As an adult getting braces, there are different concerns and he referred me to the right professionals
