The other complaints show the ongoing pattern of lies and poor service that I and my father in law experienced from Dr Daryl Stephens, (banned from practicing in W.A.) On one occasion my wife and her father waited in a full waiting room and could hear him organizing contractors for a project at his home. In my experience an MRI cannot be relied on to detect early to mid-range prostate cancer, but that is all Dr Stephens diagnosis relied on. Fortunately another urologist took me and being more thorough, quickly diagnosed the cancer, and organised treatment. If you value your health, do not let this urologist mess you up.

I'm still paying the price of a damaged urethra after a routine Turp operation in Peel Hospital. Scarring causes blockages and Mr Stephens rectified those with a steel bar and no anaesthetic. Blood and pain was the result. After he left under a cloud my next surgeon told me that, " We don't operate like that" and subsequently sent me off to sleep for the same procedure.. I'm still angry..

Worst doctor I've ever had. Dr Daryl Stephens did what was meant to be a simple bladder hitchup to stop the little bit of incontinence I had.
The whole experience was shocking.
He cut through a nerve and I nearly had to be resusetated after the op as I went into shock from the pain. I was in agony on the couch at home for W weeks afterwards.
When I saw him a couple of weeks later at the check up, I told him about the agony I had on one side, and he actually laughed and said "ha - I must have cut a nerve"!!!!!! It was not funny to me. Then as a result of his poor work in the surgery, the mesh he used moved into the walls of my bowel which required surgery where I lost half my bowel. A second surgery has also resulted from the mesh which has adhered to my bladder which caused more complications. All this as a result of Dr Daryl Stephens butchering me in what should have been minor day procedure. Do not use this doctor.

Incompetent fool. So full of himself. You would be better to do the job yourself. There is no way this person should ever be allowed to practice medicine at all, ever.

Dr Stephens operated on me on 2 occasions in 2020 and I couldn’t fault his professionalism .

I had a Vasectomy about 20yrs ago with Dr Daryl. The result was successful, but the infection from literaly a meter (3 feet) of suture that was knotted and tangled that I had to feed out of my surgical site was horrendous.
