Had both my right and left hips replaced over the past 18 months by Dr. Viskontas. One hip was bone-on-bone and the other hip was headed in the same direction. The new hips are perfect. Life changing! Super happy with his care, expertise, steady hand and calm demeanor. Grateful to have been his patient.

Dr. Viskontas performed my anterior total hip replacement. It was an excellent experience. He set me up for success in all ways, from the anterior approach, to the interior stitches, to covering my scar so I could shower immediately after my surgery. His bedside manner is good, straightforward and as busy as he is, he was approachable and caring. My recovery at 7 weeks has been textbook. I can’t say enough about his skills and surgery outcomes.

He phoned my daughter with any concerns he had, a Dr. That really cares about his patients. Dr. Viskontas performed a total knee replacement for me which has been nothing short of life changing. I am so thankful that I was referred to him. Not only is he an incredibly skilled surgeon, he is very kind and professional during consultations. Even though he must have heard every question I asked a thousand times before from other patients, he answered me patiently and carefully in ways that were easy to understand. He also told me exactly what to expect during and after the surgery. I felt like he took my concerns seriously and treated me like an equal in deciding the best course of action for my situation.

After severely dislocating my ankle and breaking 3 bones, I wasn’t sure how long I was going to be bedridden.
So happy that after 7 weeks, I’m now able to start putting full weight on it with a Walker. Looks fabulous even with plates & screws installed. I’m 68 yrs old and have a lot of stairs in my home. I just feel full mobility is just around the corner!! Dr. V. and his staff are incredible!!

I have had two knee surgeries due to two separate car accidents , Dr. Viskontas has performed both surgeries and both very successful I am grateful to have a professional competent Surgeon, I am waiting to have a revision on my amputated right below knee, that was done by another Doctor that was recommended by my prosthesist and the surgeon performed did a very poor job and had many difficulties after recovery , I wish I had of waited for Dr. Viskontas , very grateful and looking forward to having the revision done properly and th most inpotant thing always is having confidence in your surgeon and trust that you are getting the best care and I totally feel this Dr. Viskontas has fullest interest and care for his patience , and amazing personable and helpful staff also make a it a positive experience and highly recommend anyone that is need of an excellent orthopedic surgeon

Dr. Viskontas saw me for a ruptured ACL, sent me to physio, and then agreed at a follow up appointment to operate because my knee was too unstable for me to return to my sporting activities even after physio. I am in my 50's. He answered my questions regarding options. I had my surgery within about a month after he agreed to do it, as I was on the cancellation list. My knee is stable three months post surgery, and with more physio I believe that I will return to all my activities. I have never had to wait for more than 1/2 hour or so past my appointment time to see him. When I have been in the clinic he is training multiple medical students and he is seeing a lot of patients. I am happy with the outcome of the operation and with his services.
