My experience with Charles Kahn was some years ago, but his mistake was so huge, I wanted to add it. Basically, I had a sudden onset of severe headaches that continued for 9 months wsithout a CAT scan being ordered. When I complaiuned of a neurological symptom, he ordered an EEG. He called with the results on a Friday afternoon. When I called him back, he would not talk to me and I was told to wait for the mail on Monday when I learned the EEG was adnormal. I immediately changed doctors, had a cat scan which showed I had a benign brain tumor the size of an orange which was surgically removed successfully the next week. I wrote him a letter complaining of being treated as a hypochrondriac when I had a serious problem and HE was annoyed. He never apologised. He is very smooth, always telling me what an intelligent patient I was while not speaking to me about having A1C results of 10 and 11(normal 5-6). Maybe he has since educated himself but I found his niceness to be a front.

Very professional, knowledgeable, focused and compassionate at the same time. Great communication and respect for the patient. I feel like I'm his only patient. Absolutely wonderful!
