I go to his office on Mount Pleasant. Dr. Segall is one of the most unprofessional people I've ever encountered. First, at every appointment I've ever had with him he seats me in the chair and disappears for 10-15 minutes and then do my fillings in 10 minutes. I've had 5 fillings done by him and 3 out of the 5 have fallen out. It seems like he rushes, I highly recommend Dr. Singer or Dr. Greenspoon, they take their time and they don't keep you waiting.

Dr. Segall does chat too much with his staff. He was not watching closely enough while filing down a molar, and has forever altered my bite to be an overbite. This has since. Caused damage to other teeth as they no longer line up where they should. He gave me several fillings, which I have since been told by 2 other dentists, were not needed. I was young and naive and I made the mistake of trusting Dr. Segall. The quality of his work is good, if he is paying attention, though he is not as honest as he appears.

Dr. Derek Segall is then most professional and skilled dentist. He cares so much for his patients and is so accommodating and flexible with his hours. He is the best and I swear by him!

Staff: dismissive receptionists, aggressive hygienists except for one very good hygienist. Dr Segall gossips so much with his assistants during my appointments, I wonder wonder if he is paying attention to my teeth at all. His work is inconsistent; my filling fell out the next day, edges were sharp - but he did redo/refile. I had concerns which he said weren't worth investigating. I found a different dentist who cared more about my health and referred me to a specialist.

Disagree whole-heartedly with the previous 2 comments. Dr. Segall is a fantastic dentist and person! Welcome to the world, things cost money and everyone has to make a living! He has never proposed unnecessary treatment and never re-charges if something he treated isn't cured. He does go above and beyond for his patients. My whole family and many of my friends go to him and he provides all of us with amazing care! And regarding waiting, if you go see most doctors you'll wait exponentially longer. As with all professions with patients, sometimes things don't go according to schedule! It happens to everyone! Overall and wonderful dentist!

He is the best dentist around. I couldn’t believe how caring, nice and patient he is. Going to the dentist can be a scary experience but he is so nice about it and explains everything step by step. He obviously cares about your teeth but also about you.
