If you take a healthy person and give them an immune suppressant they would likely not be healthy any more. I am not interested in slowing the progress of RA at the expense of multiple severe side effects. There is lots of research coming to light linking pathogens and/or microbes as the root of inflammatory conditions. When presented with this knowldedge Andy ignores the research. Commenting now on the whole industry now it's as if they have their fingers in their ears saying over and over 'There is no cure, there is no cure' despite emerging evidence against this.
There are many pieces to the puzzle with autoimmune conditions. The book 'The Autoimmune Fix' will help a person begin the understanding of what is going on but may only be one step towards the solution depending on how severe your situation. My score of 2 reflects my disappointment in his keeping abreast of the research coming to light these days.
Just as I would never take chemo for cancer, I'm not interested in chemo for RA...the go to offering. I hoped from the reviews that Andy would be different.

Dr. Thomson is a true professional. extremely kind and has assisted me greatly in clearing up my issues. He is thorough with great diagnostic abilities. I can not understand anyone thinking otherwise. . I would not hesitate to recommend him, and in fact have done so with my family. His credentials are impeccable and are so deserving of respect. Pleasant and informative and explains the difficulty that arises in terms that is understandable. Have been notified extremely fast when a problem with blood results and how/what to do. Thank you Dr.T. I would recommend him to others with similar pains.

When I count my blessings, Dr. Thompson is included! I have been fortunate to be under his care for many years. In 2019 during a hospital stay he went above and beyond with his knowledge and expertise. He is a credit to his profession and his patients are fortunate to have him. His practice and the people on his team are the best!

What an amazing Doctor. I was in excruciating pain in my left should for 12 weeks after unrelated surgery from another specialist and physio. He took his time with me and instantly knew what to do. He used precision skills to inject cortisone into my rotator cuff and the pain was gone by evening. He also did both my hands which has allowed me to be at the computer writing this. Thank you so much for the service you give. Other doctors can have all the education to be a Doctor, but it's the Human caring factor that makes you best Doctor.

Dr Thompson is a wonderful, caring doctor whom is very understanding. Listens to your questions and always willing to offer suggestions to help with your pain. Never rushes you and front desk staff very friendly and pleasant.
