We are both fairly new to this office and found Dr. Raco, hygienists and staff to be very thorough with everything. They also take the time to explain things and we don't feel rushed. They set up the billing with Great West Life for us as well. As well, the fees were a bit lower than my previous dentist's office.

Had a cavity removed today. Dr. Racco and his staff made sure i was comfortable and the freezing was perfect. I have anxiety and he was very patient and and considerate of my situation. Very knowledgeable, and i always know im in good hands.

We moved to Guelph recently and I decided to go to Dr. Raco because of a recommendation AND because he is #1 on ratemds. So far, I am happy to have chosen him. Lynn in his office is great. Dr. Raco is very knowledgeable and explains everything well. So far, he did a major exam & cleaning and removed two very old fillings, drilled out cavities below them, and installed substantial new amalgam fillings. What was amazing was that I did not even feel the needle he gave me; I always did with my previous dentist. The procedure was not fun but it was certainly painless and I thought he used a lot of craftsmanship in doing the several layers of the new filling; He also ground it down so it felt perfect afterwards. Someone mentioned that he is expensive but he charges exactly the Dental Schedule fees. After both visits, Sun Life reimbursed me 100% of the charges. (We do not have a deductible.)

I share the excellent comments by others. One addition is that Lynn ALWAYS makes reminder calls and is terrific at managing appointments. She tries her best to accommodate appointments that do not interfere wiht my work hours. Dr. Raco and staff have always offered options, explanations of procedures, and respects the choices I make.Keep up the good work. In addition, I moved to another community 11 years ago and I continue to drive 45 minutes to Guelph to stay with his excellent office.

The facilities are out of date. The skill is so so. The treatments are more expensive.

Dr. Raco and his staff are amazing. They take the time to explain the procedures, cost and time associated with each appoitment and treatment. The office is up to date but not too clincial. You always receive a smile and welcome when you arrive and leave. Dr. Raco is up to date on his knowledge of procedures and if he can not complete the work he sends you to highly skilled professionals. Once I had an absesced tooth and he saw me after hours when his office was closed. Truly caring group.

You often hear people talk about how stressful it is to anticipate a checkup with their dentist. For myself and my family, Dr. Raco and his staff are like family. We have always been treated very well and trips to the dentist are actually fun and enjoyable for our four kids. Dr. Raco always gives honest and professional advice and genuinely cares about the health of his patients. We no longer live in Guelph and yet it is always worthwhile driving 150km each time for visits to the dentist.
