When I had insurance I would have rated this doctor 5 (except for her staff maybe 3/5). She has since moved to Palmdale, and I no longer have insurance. Before I felt she was very good, knowledgable, but now I have discovered that if you are a cash patient you are considered low cast & dispicable. I was truly astonished at the turn here. She basically billed me for nothing. She stated she would order lab tests and ultrasound, then gave me 2 papers - no lab was referred. I asked several times for the Rx for the ultrasound. Gave me a paper that did not appear to be a prescription and again did not tell me anything about where I could go to get this filled. Evidently she didn't expect me to, and doesn't plan on seeing me again. Her staff was very rude, demanding cash now (I offered my credit card how I usually pay) the receptionist stated cash or check now. I said "I'll mail it". They called 3 days later, stating they hadn't received it,wanted me to drive 120 mi immediately.

Cannot recommend due to recent appointment with the usual wait time of over an hour and a half and 2 rude staff members that make me dread going there sometimes. Found new doctor.

Dr. Kamath acts like she really cares about her pts. She doesn't just nod her head and collect money for hearing your complaints. She ordered tests and procedures to find my problem. She ordered a medication that helped me and is monitoring for effects and results. She is a real doctor and I have recommended her to everyone I know who is considering a new doctor.
