Staff is ice cold. You wait for a long time to even GET an appointment with this Dr. Then you wait in the waiting room a long time. However, Dr. Laughlin is a good GYN. She took her time with me to consider my options and explain how different options would work. She also convinced me to have my annual mammograms! I've used her for 8 years, only went to one other OBGYN who I hated, because Dr. Laughlin doesn't take my insurance. However, because i like her so much I just pay out of pocket and see her. I have confidence in her.

Very rude, waited over two hours once, she seems to be miserable & hates her job, because it shows, I switched OB's 7 months into my pregnancy because I did not car for her bedside manner one bit. Her own staff who was pregnant didn't even use her....that says a lot...

I can not say enough wonderful things about Dr. Laughlin. I switched to Dr. Laughlin after a frustrating experience with another OBGYN in the area that I feel should retire because it is obvious her heart is no longer in it. She was very dismissive about everything. Here is where Dr. Laughlin comes in. I went in to my first appt with a laundry list of concerns and she addressed every single one of them in depth. She never made me feel stupid. In fact when you talk to her it's like she's your best girlfiend who has all this medical knowledge. At the end of the appt. she put her arm around me and told me not to worry, we would get all the items we talked about cleared up. You could see she sincerely cared about me and was sympathetic to the less than stellar care I had received before. Thanks to Dr. Laughlin I am now the lucky parent (at 41) of 2 beautiful little girls ages 9 mos. and 4yrs. She is my favorite Dr. of all time. Go see her. You won't be sorry.

After receiving inadequate service from Vogelpohl, I switched to Laughlin at 28 weeks during my 2nd pregnancy. Laughlin came highly recommended from friends and she makes me feel SO much more comfortable and asked all the right questions to ease my concerns. She answered my questions and didn't make me feel dumb, like Vogelpohl. I look forward to the rest of my appt's with her and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor that cares about her patients.
