I have had a few appointments with Dr Barreth. My 1st visit was years ago. Back then I found Dr.Barreth funny, helpful & great at his job. Fast forward 8 years and he has a different personality. Through my 2nd visit, he laughed in my face about what my G.P. 1st thought might be a cancerous tumor. He laughed. Then brought in his assistant to laugh at me as well. I should have switched then, but did not. After my hysterectomy. He said, good thing we got that tumor out. I asked why & he got mad. Because I asked "why"? At my follow up. He told me to find another Dr? All I did was ask questions & I expected an answer. Not to be made fun of. I'm not sure what he went through that changed a once great Dr, to a grumpy & unwilling to help his patients.

Dr. Barreth ended up doing my c-section and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. He was so amazing at keeping me calm and explaining the process. My scar is healing amazing. His sense of humour definitely makes everything less tense. I had no worries if I was in good hands with him.

Dr. Barreth delivered my baby after my induction took too long for my own OBGYN to deliver. I loved him. He was very respectful, if he didn’t have to be looking he wasn’t. He made me feel really comfortable and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Dr. Barreth!

I have seen Dr. Barreth a few times and he performed an ablation for me. He followed me having major menstrual bleeding issues and we went through various treatments until deciding on surgery as a last resort.

He is very compassionate and I feel comfortable with him. The surgery was performed perfectly and I would happily see him again as my gynecologist.

Took our son to get circumcised by Dr. Barrett and couldn’t be happier with our experience. He was kind, reassuring and made us feel 100% comfortable. I was terrified of watching my son get the procedure and he made me feel a lot better about staying in the room and the procedure as a whole. I cannot remember the nurses name but she was fantastic as well. 10/10 would recommend Dr. Barreth to anyone. Thank you for making this experience a little bit easier.

Terrible experience. had hysterectomy in 2010. I woke up with severe pain from my surgery and he didn't make an effort to find out why. 6 weeks post he told me 99% of women by now are fine and there was nothing more he could for me. Have tried to figure out what happened since, finally after 9 years I went to the Mayo clinic in Scottsdale and was diagnosed with and entrapped femoral nerve in my lower abdominal wall. Since coming back I have been referred to general surgeon for repair and am still waiting in agony.

Dr Barreth did my ablation and he was great! I won't leave out the anesthesiologist or the other Dr. who helped. The nurses were really good as well.

Doctor Barreth was the only OBGYN to listen to me instead of dismissing me out the door. He heard me out and the research I've done and was willing to work with me. This man is calm, easy going, funny and knows what he is doing. I've never been so pleased with a doctor before.
